Born on September 18, 2001 in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, he appeared on Huzhou TV Station at the age of four. He started learning guzheng at the age of five. In 2008, he became a student of guzheng player and educator Sheng Yang from the Conservatory of Music of Hangzhou Normal University. In 2009, he was accepted as a disciple by the famous guzheng player Yuan Sha of the Central Conservatory of Music and successfully passed the primary school affiliated to the Central Conservatory of Music.
