Huang Huwei (1932~), composer. Neijiang, Sichuan. In 1954, he graduated from the composition department of Southwest Conservatory of Music (now Sichuan Conservatory of Music) and stayed there as a teacher. He used to be the head of the composition department. In 1954, he joined the China Producer Party. In 1956, he joined the Central Conservatory of Music and studied under the Soviet composer Professor Boris Arapov. Later, he served as a lecturer, associate professor, professor and head of the composition department of Sichuan Conservatory of Music. He is currently a member of the Creative Committee of China Musicians Association, director of music copyright society of china, deputy director of the Theoretical Creative Committee of Sichuan Musicians Association and professor of Sichuan Conservatory of Music. Officially published and published 123 musical works. Representative works include piano suite Painting of Bashu, Happy Shepherd Boy, Children's Sonata, flute music Sunny Shining on Tianshan Mountain, violin music Moon Song of Emei Mountain, children's song I Love saussurea involucrata and so on. In addition, there are dance music, large-scale song and dance, opera, TV drama music, etc., piano solo "Painting of Bashu", "Song of Mount Emei", "Sonata" and "Fantasy of Jialing River"; Flute and piano "Sunny Days Shining on Tianshan Mountain"; Tenor solo "Eternal Song";

He is the author of Introduction to Simple Music, Basic Knowledge of Harmony Writing (published by People's Music Publishing House), Answers to Harmony Exercises (Sposobin Edition of Harmony Acoustics Course), Style of Accompaniment Phonology and Tone Modulation (published by People's Music Publishing House). In April, 21, I participated in the "National Harmony Polyphony Teaching Seminar" sponsored by the Teaching Steering Committee of Art Major in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education and China Conservatory of Music with my thesis "My Opinions on Four Harmony Writing Rules".

Two works won the prize of the Ministry of Culture and three won the first prize of Sichuan Province. He has served as a judge of national and provincial music competition for many times.
