Breaking is generally divided into four categories
The first is toprock, which is rock steps. It is characterized by randomness. Toprock is generally done to familiarize yourself with the music and adjust each floor movement. To get a break or warm-up, uprock is a battle dance, a bit like krumping, but the uprock of breaking is mostly used for connection. It can increase the atmosphere during the battle and create more tension and power in the movements
The second is freeze. Freeze refers to you freezing in the special effects of certain music. It is usually an inverted freeze. Common freezes include nike, big v, hello back, etc. Freeze is also a way to compete with each other in difficulty during battle. Project, but it doesn’t mean whoever takes the longest time will be more powerful. The key lies in the combination with music, visual tension, and the use of skills
The third is footwork, also called rowing legs and sweeping legs. It is common. The first step is 6 steps, and there are 3 steps, 12 steps, etc. Footwork is about fast, the faster the better, but the kicks must follow the music, and they must be accurate and in place
The fourth is power, that is Thomas, windmill (superman windmill, baby windmill, no hand windmill), hand spins 1990 and 2000, head spins, hand spins, airswipes, airfly, etc., they are also the coolest moves in breaking
The first three are called stylemove, the latter is called powermove
