About our survey

Regarding this research topic, we used Internet search (literature research method) and questionnaire (survey research method).

Our research results mainly include papers, questionnaires, audios of some popular music songs, etc.

Regarding the questionnaire, the main target of the survey is high school students, so we can only explain that this survey only represents their position and has nothing to do with our views and positions. We just use their data to illustrate. According to the survey data, we feel that many high school students do not know much about English pop songs, so we think it is necessary to conduct an investigation on many aspects of English pop songs and their genre development.

For example: Among the 136 people participating in English songs, how much of the music do you listen to? About 75% of the students in this question believe that English songs account for one to two percent of the music they listen to, and most of the students, 39 (129 people participated in English songs, are they helpful to your learning? This question), accounted for 30.2 % think that English songs are not helpful for learning, but 35.7% of students think that they are helpful for speaking English. As for how to obtain English songs, 46.7% (165 people participated) of students relied on rankings or media recommendations.
