Qingdao Concert Hall is located at No. 1 Lanshan Road, Qingdao City, across the street from Zhanqiao in the south and adjacent to the century-old Zhongshan Road in the west. It was built in 1934 and has a construction area of ??more than 1,500 square meters. An excellent modern European-style building.

In 2006, in accordance with the deployment and requirements of the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government on cultural construction, and in accordance with the spatial layout of the city’s “Music Hall” construction, Shinan District of Qingdao City put forward the “renovation plan and Zhongshan Road” around the Municipal Culture Bureau. The reconstruction project, combined with the construction of cultural infrastructure in our city, can meet the needs of holding the National Violin Competition, the Olympic Sailing Competition and the needs of citizens to appreciate elegant music." The original Qingdao Municipal Auditorium was renovated into a professional concert hall. The project was completed on December 29, 2006.

The renovated concert hall was named "Qingdao Concert Hall" and became the only professional concert hall in Qingdao. The concert hall has a total construction area of ??2,018 square meters and has 482 auditorium seats (including 2 wheelchair seats).
