2. The commonly used tunes of the flute are C, D, E, F, and G. The length, thickness, height, and opening distance of flutes of each tonality will be different. The flutes in the keys of C, D, and E are qudi, which are longer and thicker, and require a higher breath to play; the flutes in the keys of F and G are bangdi, which are thinner, shorter, and easier to play, so it is generally recommended that beginners give priority to F. Flute in the key of G or G.
3. It is generally not recommended for beginners to use C flute. Because the C tone has the largest internal space, it can store the most breath. If the breath being played is not enough to come out through the sound hole, then the sound will not be played.
