The Mannheim State University of Music and Performing Arts is a famous national art university in Germany. The school was founded in 1756 and became the National University of Music and Performing Arts in 1971. It was formed by the merger of the Mannheim Conservatoire, the Mannheim Dance Academy and the Heidelberg Conservatory of Music.
