Shenyang Conservatory of Music is one of the nine major conservatories in China and one of the 31 independent undergraduate art colleges determined by the Ministry of Education. It is the only higher music and dance art college with a long history and glorious tradition in Northeast China. Located in Sanhao Street, Heping District, Shenyang, it covers an area of 12 mu and has a building area of 14, square meters. Now it has developed into a multi-disciplinary and multi-level art college with complete professional categories, strong teachers, perfect teaching facilities and remarkable teaching results.

Shenyang Conservatory of Music is located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, the center of the old industrial base in Northeast China. Shenyang Conservatory of Music is the only music and dance art college with a long history and glorious tradition in northeast China. The College originated from Lu Xun Art College initiated and founded in Yan 'an in 1938 by proletarian revolutionaries of the older generation such as Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Lin Boqu, Xu Teli, Cheng Fangwu, Ai Siqi and Zhou Yang.
