Tokyo is a Japanese folk tune. It is a pentatonic mode without semitones. The core tones, except the tonic, are fourth tones. It is composed of two identical fourths, a minor second and a major third. The syllables of Dujie are: alto (3 4 6 7), treble (1), alto (3). "Sakura" adopts metropolitan rhythm. The melody of the song is soft and smooth in 4\4 beat, showing the leisurely and contented mood of the Japanese people when viewing cherry blossoms.

Mode refers to a number of musical tones of different levels, organized around a certain stable central sound, according to a certain interval relationship, and becomes an organic system, called mode. Mode is a form of music organization structure created by humans in long-term music practice. Usually when elaborating on the concept of mode, the central note of the mode, the tonic, is often used as the starting point and end point, and the other notes are arranged in the form of a scale in order of pitch, which is called a mode scale. In different historical periods, different ethnic groups and regions, various styles have been formed. Various modes have their own characteristics and expressiveness due to their differences in scale structure, the relationship between mode levels, and temperament. The combination of mode and other expression techniques can give music a certain expressive quality and different styles.
