The first minute of the music is exactly when Steve transforms and chases Claire. The music is very tense and noisy , Claire escaped behind the door, but was still caught by the tentacles. Steve broke the door and was about to chop down Claire with an axe. His love for Claire exceeded the control of the virus on him, and he chopped off the tentacles, letting Claire escape from the tentacles. Escaped. As a result, he was knocked out by the tentacles. The last minute and a half was very tender. Steve changed back to his original self, confessed his love to Claire when he was dying, and then died.
