The development history of the Sound of Music

On January 1, 1997, the "Chinese Song Chart" (the predecessor of "MusicRadio China TOP Chart") was founded. In 1998, it was changed to the "Chinese Popular Song Chart". The third program of CCTV was "Literary FM".

On December 2, 2002, the original Literary FM was officially upgraded to MusicRadio. It was the first typed music station in mainland China and the first step in the reform of CCTV’s "frequency specialization and frequency management" start.

In September 2003, the "China Popular Song Chart" was officially upgraded to the "MusicRadio China TOP Chart". At the end of the same year, the charity event "I Want to Go to School" was launched.

On October 24, 2004, the Sound of Music and CCTV-2 (now CCTV Financial Channel) simultaneously broadcast live the large-scale entertainment program "Dream China" specially produced for the anniversary of the "Very 6 1" column.

On February 17, 2009, The Sound of Music underwent its largest revision since its launch. The basic framework after this revision continues to this day.

In November 2009, following the Global Chinese Radio Network, another cooperative organization with the participation of all global Chinese radio media - the Global Popular Music Gold List was established in Beijing.

On January 1, 2010, the Sound of Music officially landed in Wuhan, with the frequency being FM90.7.

On January 4, 2010, the "Global Popular Music Gold Chart" was officially launched.

On April 1, 2010, the Sound of Music "Music Dream in Wuhan" audience meeting was held at the Meiyuan Small Playground of Wuhan University.

On April 24, 2010, China’s TOP Ranking 2009 Awards Series was launched.

On April 23, 2012, the 2011 Mengniu Sour Yoghurt MusicRadio China TOP Ranking Awards Ceremony was held in Jinan.

In September 2012, The Sound of Music was broadcast in five regions of Yunnan Province, namely: Kunming FM93.0, Lijiang FM107.2, Xishuangbanna FM107.1, Yuxi FM103.9, Qujing FM106 .6.

December 2, 2012, marks the 10th anniversary of the launch of The Sound of Music.

On December 19, 2012, the Sound of Music held the "Sound of Music·Ten Years Event - China National Broadcasting Station MusicRadio Sound of Music's 10th Anniversary Thanksgiving Party" at the MasterCard Center in Beijing.

On December 31, 2012, MusicRadio held the "2012MusicRadio New Year's Eve Party".

In 2012, the China People's Broadcasting Station Music Program Center was established.

During the May Day holiday in 2013, the "MusicRadio Music Star Power" event was held in Shanghai.

On May 15, 2013, a celebration party for China Central People’s Broadcasting Station Music Radio’s Sound of Music landing in Yunnan was held in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, marking the official start of broadcasting in Yunnan.

On December 8, 2013, the Sound of Music held the "2013MusicRadio I Want to Go to School Love·Homecoming Student Aid Action Love Gala" at the Workers' Stadium in Beijing.

On February 17, 2014, the Music Program Center began to officially manage the Voice of the City. The Voice of the City became the brother frequency of the Sound of Music. The situation of the Music Program Center facing the audience with one face was completely broken.

On July 8, 2014, the Sound of Music participated in hosting the 2014MusicRadio Wei Chen "Advancing to the Top" tour concert.

In September 2014, the Sound of Music launched the "2014 MusicRadio I Want to Go to School Watch Billion Hearts Care Action".

On December 2, 2014, MusicRadio celebrated its 12th anniversary. It specially planned a three-day "'Love and Friends' Sound of Music 12th Anniversary Series".

In September 2015, MusicRadio began to hold the 4th "Fresh Voices" DJ audition after 2004, 2008 and 2013.
