1. Lang Lang, born on June 14, 1982 in Shenhe District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is a Chinese piano player and graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music in the United States. Lang Lang is the first Chinese pianist to have long-term cooperation with all first-class orchestras in Berlin, Vienna, and the Big Five in the United States, and to hold solo recitals in all famous concert halls around the world.
2. At only 22 years old, he has become another leader in the world of piano after Horowitz and Rubinstein. Lang Lang's musical talent and passionate temperament complement each other, making him the most ideal interpreter of classical music and an idol in the hearts of young people.
3. Lang Lang was born in Shenyang, China. He started learning piano from his father at the age of 3, and studied with Professor Zhu Yafen at the age of 4. At the age of 5 and 7, he won the first place in the Shenyang Piano Competition for two consecutive years. At the age of 9, he won the first place in the National Xinghai Piano Competition. At the age of 11, he won the first place in the 4th International Youth Piano Competition in Germany and received the Outstanding Artistic Achievement Award. At the age of 13, he won first place (gold medal) in the 2nd Tchaikovsky International Young Musician Competition.
