March 1, 1810: Frederic Francois Chopin was born in Zelazowa Wola, Poland. His father was Nicolas Chopin and his mother was Justine Chopin.
In 1817, Chopin began studying piano under the guidance of Albert Rivney.
Chopin's first work "Polonaze ??in G minor" was published.
February 24, 1818: 8-year-old Chopin gave his first public concert at Radziwill Palace.
In 1822, Chopin was personally taught by Joseph Elsner, the director of the Warsaw Conservatory of Music.
In 1823, 13-year-old Chopin entered the Warsaw Cultural Academy.
In 1825, the Russian Czar celebrated his victory as the Polish throne, and Chopin was called to play for him.
Chopin composed "Rondo in C minor".
In 1826, Chopin was admitted to the Warsaw Conservatory of Music.
1827, April 10: Chopin’s youngest sister Emilia died of tuberculosis.
Chopin composed "Give Me Your Hand" Variations.
In 1828, Chopin visited Berlin. He and Elsner composed the "Cracow Rondo" together.
July 1829: Chopin visited Vienna for the first time.
August 11 and 18: The 19-year-old Chopin gave two public concerts at the Vienna Opera House.
Chopin wrote "Concerto in F minor", "Waltz in D flat major", "Souvenir de Paganini" (Souvenir de Paganini), and he also wrote the first etude.
In 1830, Chopin held two concerts at the National Theater in Warsaw on May 17th and 22nd.
November 2: Chopin leaves Poland for Vienna.
November 30: The Polish people's uprising against Russian rule broke out in Warsaw.
Chopin composed "Concerto in E minor" and "Ballade in G minor".
1831, July: Chopin left Vienna.
September: Chopin arrives in Paris. The uprising in Warsaw was suppressed.
Chopin composed "Etudes in C Minor - Revolution".
February 1832: The 21-year-old Chopin gave his first concert in Paris with his friends Kalkbrenner, Shearer and Osborne.
Chopin was "discovered" by the French upper class and began to build his career in Paris. He makes a living by giving piano lessons.
In 1834, Chopin wrote 4 "Mazurkas" and 12 etudes.
In 1835, Chopin held a series of concerts in Paris. August: Chopin meets his parents in Casbad. He then lived for a time with the Wodkinski family in Dresden, where he fell in love with Maria Wodkinski.
Chopin met Robert Schumann and Clara Wieck in Leipzig.
August 1836: Chopin and Maria Vodzinski were officially engaged.
Chopin met George Sand for the first time.
Chopin wrote two nocturnes and four mazurkas.
In 1837, Chopin and Maria Vodkinsky broke off their engagement. Chopin began writing "24 Preludes".
In 1838, the love story of 28-year-old Chopin and 34-year-old George Sand began. November: Chopin, George Sand and her children leave for Majorca.
December: Chopin and George Sand's family move into Valldemosa on the island of Mallorca.
February 1839: Chopin suffered from tuberculosis, and the San family left Mallorca for Marseille, France.
May to September: Chopin lived at the home of George Sand in Nohant, France. He composed "Nocturne in G major", "Impromptu in F sharp major" and three "Mazurkas".
Chopin moved back to Paris for the winter.
1841, April 26: Chopin gave a concert at the Salle Pleyel in Paris.
1844, May 3: Chopin's father died in Warsaw. Chopin's sister Louise came with her husband to visit the seriously ill Chopin.
Chopin's two "Nocturnes" and three "Mazurkas" were published.
In 1846, Chopin and Sang began to have a bad relationship.
June: George Sand's book "Lucrezia" is published, which reveals her relationship with Chopin. "Venetian Barcarolle" and "Polonaise" in F sharp major were published.
In 1847, San's daughter Solange married August Kreisinger.
The feud between George Sand, her children, and Chopin marked the end of Sand's relationship with Chopin.
February 1848: Chopin gave his last concert in Paris. The French revolution shook Paris.
March: Chopin and Sang met by chance. This was the last time they met.
April: Chopin traveled to England, giving concerts in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
November: Chopin feels unwell and returns to Paris.
Summer 1849: Chopin’s sister Louise went to Paris to visit Chopin. October 17: At two o'clock in the morning, 39-year-old Chopin died.
October 30: Chopin's funeral was held at the Madeleine Cathedral in Paris. He was buried in Père Lachaise Cemetery.
