Music is a very tolerant friend that tolerates everything about me.
I don’t know what music means to me. I just feel that if there is no music in this world, there will be a lot less fun.
When I was young, I rarely had any exposure to music. Where I live, the boys’ favorite things are marbles and paper bags, and the girls’ favorite things are rubber bands and rope skipping. Is there any Music makes no difference to us.
Until one day music broke into our lives, and it seemed that there was indeed more fun. When I was young, I lived with my parents on a middle school campus. There were many children of the same age, so there were many games to play, and singing competitions were one of them. In the fourth and fifth grade of elementary school, SHE was probably very popular. In the evening singing competition, everyone sang songs such as "You are electricity, you are light, you are the only myth, I only love you, you are my superstar" . This should be my musical enlightenment.
When I was in junior high school, I was super happy every time I took music class, not because I liked it very much, but because I didn’t want to listen to the teacher’s lectures. During the music class every Thursday, the teacher would ask two boys to go to the office to move his old piano that was no longer broken to accompany us, and they would sing old songs like serving the country with loyalty in the dilapidated classroom.
Later, when I went to high school, I started to get into contact with more orthodox pop music. I remember staying up late at home with my mother to watch Happy Boy. I particularly liked Hua Chenyu and the way he was so involved when he sang. Sure enough, he lived up to my expectations and won the championship. It was also during this time that I came into contact with Hallyu. I think it may be because I was exposed to too many music styles at this time. As a result, the various styles of songs I listen to now are quite divided, and I can’t figure out which one I like. However, I think that as a music listener, you don’t have to be so serious. When you need it, you can listen to some songs selectively. As long as it can help yourself, it’s enough to be happy.
I don’t have a favorite singer, a favorite song, or a favorite genre. I like songs that can make me cry in an instant when I am happy, songs that can make me stop when I am in a hurry, and songs that can make me become obsessed with the singing.
I don’t think you have to listen to specific songs in specific scenes. Imagine that it is late at night and your roommates are all asleep, but you are tossing and turning and still can't fall asleep. What should you listen to with your headphones on at this time? You must listen to that kind of particularly exciting song, which will make your heart unable to calm down for a long time. If you can't sleep, you can't fall asleep. If you are excited, you will be excited. What an unforgettable night it will be!
Compared to listening to the tune of a song, I prefer to read the lyrics. I like songs whose lyrics can make me scream. Recently, I have fallen in love with Soda Green’s songs, and I like the songs they wrote around 2011, such as When We Walk Together, Flying Fish, and Little Universe. Although these songs are relatively old, they still give me a refreshing feeling when listening to them, and I have to say that Qingfeng's voice is so attractive.
No matter what kind of mood we listen to music, we all hope to be happy in the end. Therefore, when listening to music, don’t be so serious, just be happy, no matter what the song or style is!
Maybe music is a very tolerant friend of mine. She tolerates everything about me, whether I am dissatisfied with her or I like her. And what I can do is never be separated from her. From childhood to adulthood, to old age, to death, no matter what attitude we take towards music, we will never leave her, and of course she will not leave us.
