People often feel the classics of a movie because of the wonderfulness of a song or a piece of music. Years later, we may no longer have clear memories of the plots and content of those movies, but thinking of some of their outstanding music can always bring back memories.
Approximately or completely identical to the feelings of many people, what excited me the most while watching the movie "The Sound of Music" and made me unforgettable after watching it were the songs with light rhymes and brilliant lyrics, such as the brisk The jumping "The Lonely Goatherd", the cute and playful "Good night, Good bye", and the "Edelweiss" full of affection and nostalgia for the motherland, especially the witty and humorous "DO RE MI". In the film, Maria is holding a guitar and taking her seven children for joy among the blue sky, white clouds and green land, with the tranquil and peaceful Alps behind her. Such a scene alone is enough to make people intoxicated, and the childlike song also brings the audience into a fantasy situation that seems to have happened before: at a time long gone, we were also there. We use our own understanding to explain everything, and we are also infecting the people and things around us with our beautiful mood. The greatest charm of "DO RE MI" is that while it provides or expresses a way of understanding the world, it also tells people that describing things is actually a simple and easy thing that is full of beauty and unknown.
Beginning in April 2008, the original American Broadway classic musical "The Sound of Music" began to tour in China, coming to its seventh stop in Guangzhou from July 26th to 31st. This time period happened to be within half a month of my summer trip to Guangdong. Although I knew that I was a complete music-blind person, since I had the opportunity to attend the event, of course I was happy to go. I am sure that most of the audience who came to watch this musical must have seen the movie of the same name. Nowadays, people usually watch movies in front of the computer screen after downloading. In contrast, the viewing value of musicals seems to be more reflected in the performance site.
In my opinion, whether it is from an immediate utilitarian perspective or some other basis, there is no doubt that human beings need the nourishment and salvation of music. Music can record and depict any kind of emotion and point directly to people's hearts. This is the outstanding feature of art. And precisely because of this characteristic, we can use music to express our temperament anytime and anywhere. However, the most noble spirit of music is not only this. It is more profound because it has the instructiveness to guide people to pursue the beauty of life and explore the hope of life.
The plot of "The Sound of Music" is not complicated, nor is it so grand and spectacular, but it can penetrate people's hearts better. Listening and watching at the scene, I deeply felt that I was surrounded by so much love. Poetic music and musical language express and display the love expressed by people from a distant country seventy years ago: elders for younger generations, children for parents, people for the motherland, and humans for nature. All words, deeds and thoughts contain harmonious love. In the play, Mrs. Schneider described it this way: The classic love story is all about passion and fearlessness in the face of difficulties. In fact, all love is like this. The strength of fighting in the face of danger can easily show the spirit of love and the purpose of life. In fact, what moved me the most was the precious and respectable motherly love Maria showed to the seven children as soon as she arrived at Colonel Trapp's house. Although they like to play pranks and have varying degrees of shortcomings, Maria, whose heart is as beautiful as music, accepts, tolerates, and transforms everything with love, and makes Colonel Trapp realize that his child is not the bad boy he thought. Tame and playful. This naturally reminds me of what Rabindranath Tagore wrote in "The Judge": "You can say whatever you want about him\But I understand my child's shortcomings\I don't love him because he is good\Just because he is My little baby..."
Perhaps we will eventually forget those thrilling moments and abandon those humiliating glory, but deep in everyone's memory, there are always some shallow memories that cannot be let go. Waves are small, we often pick them out and taste them.
At this time we will find that they are actually full of the spirit and quality of music. Indeed, music carries our lives and music records our lives.
