Explanation and analysis of dance kicks

Big Kick All dance postures and techniques in classical Chinese dance require a strong foundation in the legs. "Big Kick" is an important teaching material for training "leg skills". Through big kicking exercises, dancers' leg muscles can be made flexible, strong and elastic, and the control ability of the legs, waist, back, etc. can be enhanced. This part of the exercises are also dance moves that can be directly used in stage performances.

Textbook content: 1. Front leg kick (hook, stretch) 2. Side kick (hook, stretch, and side kick with a quarter turn to the left or right) 3. Back kick 4. Cross kick (hook, stretch) 5. Kick (hook, stretch and kick with turning) 6. Kick with cover (without turning and kick with turn) 7. Kicking the Purple Golden Crown 8. Kicking the Soaring Cannon (Male) The organizational scope of the teaching material:

1. The big kick is a larger movement of the legs exceeding 90 degrees. Due to the large amount of exercise, each leg should not perform more than 8 consecutive times in each posture. When using big kicks connected with different dance postures or alternating left and right legs, it should not exceed 24 times. Use medium-tempo music first, and then use fast music accompaniment.

2. First, combine each hand posture to perform a single repeated kick (you can do it on the spot or while walking)

3. Then, you can combine the two postures or Combine two or more postures for kicking exercises.

4. Commonly used combinations include: (1) Kicking the front leg can be followed by: hind leg, exploring the sea, kicking the purple golden crown, kicking the sky cannon, turning over with the hind leg, etc. (2) Kicking the side leg can be followed by: diagonally exploring the sea, twisting the body to explore the sea, stepping and turning over, etc. (3) Kicking the hind legs or kicking Zijin Guan can be followed by: kicking the front legs and kicking the swallow quickly. (4) The cross kick can be followed by: side kick, kicking kick, cover kick, etc. (5) Plum blossom kick (connect the cross kick, side kick, front kick, back kick, kicking kick, cover kick, do it with one leg, and kick each posture once), etc.

5. When performing a single kicking movement or a combination of exercises continuously, you can use the following movements to connect or end: such as various body movements; waist movements in various postures; rotations and turns, etc.
