Li Xiuying, associate professor at Shanghai Conservatory of Music

Li Xiuying, a beautiful soprano singer from China, graduated from the Conservatory of Music of Shandong Normal University in 1993 and studied vocal music with Professor Xie Jingtian. The following year, she was admitted to the "Zhou Xiaoyan Opera Center" of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and received lessons from the vocal master Professor Zhou Xiaoyan. Guidance, he went to the Tel Aviv International Academy of Vocal Arts in Israel and the Chiari Academy in Italy to study for advanced courses. In 1999, he received a full scholarship to study at the Mannes Conservatory of Music in New York, the United States, and received a performing artist diploma.

He has won many awards in international and domestic vocal music competitions, including the gold medal in the 1995 "China Ministry of Radio, Film and Television Newcomers and New Songs Competition", as well as multiple champions in singing competitions held by domestic radio and television stations. In 1995 and 1998, he won the International Vocal Competition held by the Ministry of Culture of China twice. In September 1998, he won the second prize at the "4th International Budapest Opera Competition". In October 2004, he won the "50th International Vocal Competition" held in Italy. Won second place in the 5th Viotti International Opera Singing Competition.

He has participated in many large-scale performances and concerts at home and abroad. In 1996 and 1997, he was invited to hold concerts in Jakarta twice and received praise.
