Monstercat (formerly Monstercat Media) is an electronic dance music company established in Vancouver, Canada in July 2011 by Mike Darlington (current CEO) and Ari Paunonen (current COO).

Remixers signed with Monstercat can only release their music as singles, but the mixers still retain the right to release their singles on other music company brands.

Monstercat releases three electronic music singles every week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), and a one-hour podcast broadcast live in the Twitch live room (every Tuesday at 1 p.m. PST).

For every 30 electronic music singles released, Monstercat will release an album containing these 30 songs and the following two remixes (original sentence is: About every thirty song releases, a new album is compiled containing these and two continuous mixes of the album.)

The released songs can be downloaded on Monstercat's site, iTunes, Xbox Music, Spotify, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Google Play Music, etc. There will also be corresponding music videos released on YouTube and Twitch channels.
