Teaching key points and difficulties
Key point: Perceive the difference between sections A and B.
Difficulty: being able to use body movements to express the content of the music.
Activity preparation
"Flea" finger puppet, "monkey" chest ornament, homemade flea pat, music (composed of "Pizzicato Intermezzo" and "Little Mouse and Bubble Gum" Edited pieces of music A and B)
Activity process
1. Introduction:
(1) The teacher leads the children to act as little fleas entering the flea kingdom. Activity room. The teacher's exaggerated performance led to "flea babies".
(2) Ask the children to jump like a "flea baby".
2. In the "tickling" game, perceive the A section of music.
(1) When seeing the children jumping, this naughty "flea baby" wanted to scratch it (the teacher demonstrated to the music in section A, where the fleas would move).
(2) Ask several children to perform with the teacher in section A (the teacher guides the children to move their shoulders, heads, feet, etc.).
3. Perceive the B section of music in the game of "hide and seek".
(1) Is the little flea game fun? But one day a little flea crawled on a little monkey, but the little monkey didn't like it because it liked to sleep in. But the little flea liked to scratch it, and it was so itchy that it couldn't sleep well, so it slapped it hard. Fleas, what do you think we should do about little fleas? (Children discuss, the teacher guides the children to tell the method of "hide")
(2) Two teachers demonstrate the game of "hide and seek".
(3) Invite several children to play the role of little fleas, and one child to play the role of a little monkey and play a "hide and seek" game with the B section music (guide the children to avoid the "flea swatter").
4. Is the story of the little flea’s adventure interesting? Now invite all the children to be the little flea, and I will be the little monkey, and let’s perform this interesting story together (teachers and students will perform to the music of sections A and B).
5. The little monkey took photos for so long, but he didn’t “photograph” a single flea, so he went home angrily. The little flea starts its next adventure (play the music section A, and the teacher leads the children to pretend to be a little flea and leave the activity room).
Teaching reflection
According to the age characteristics of the children in the small class, I chose the music game "The Adventures of Little Flea" suitable for the children in the small class. Children naturally like to be happy. Happy activities can stimulate children’s curiosity and interest, and can also mobilize children’s inner creative potential. Children in small classes are young and emotional. In life, I found that children in small classes naturally like activities such as hide-and-seek and tickling. Therefore, I found two pieces of music A and B edited from "Pizzicato Intermezzo" and "Little Mouse and Bubblegum" as the background music for the game of tickling the little flea and slapping the flea with the little monkey. The two pieces of music are full of childlike interest. The children are both friendly and interesting in the activity, and they experience the joy of playing games with their peers, which is also one of the themes of the activity. Happy games are the driving force for children to learn, explore, and try. Throughout the entire activity, I have been a happy playmate and supporter for children, guiding them to feel music and experience happiness, so that every child can be a happy experiencer.
However, many problems also occurred during the activity, because it was my first time participating in music activities, and it also brought certain challenges to me who was not good at music. First of all, the rhythm movements are too difficult for small children, and I couldn’t find a remake myself. When I was creating the tickling game action, I sometimes couldn't find the beat, so I was a little nervous. In the game activity of little monkeys shooting fleas, because I did not explain the rules of the game clearly to the children in advance, the children were very excited and happy during the game activities, so this session felt very confusing. My goal in designing this activity is to allow young children to appreciate the two pieces of music, perceive the differences in the styles of the two pieces of music, and experience the joy of playing with their peers. The children have been very happy during the activities, which is for sure, but most children still do not perceive the difference between the two pieces of music, so there is still a lot of knowledge I need to learn in the education of music's emotions and emotions. Although the children are always happy and joyful during the activities, the actual musical and emotional experience the activities bring to the children is still insufficient. Also, I lacked passion during the activity because I used the same tone throughout the activity, so I felt that the activity had no focus and was all straightforward. Even when I had passion, I still couldn’t let go. These are things that I should correct and improve in my future teaching activities.
In future teaching activities, I will redouble my efforts to improve my teaching level.
