Brief introduction of Zhao Xiaosheng.

Zhao Xiaosheng, composer, pianist, music theorist and educator, professor of Shanghai Conservatory of Music and doctoral supervisor. Born in 1945, graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 1967. From 1981 to 1984, he was a visiting professor at Columbia University in Missouri, USA. Deputy editor-in-chief of Piano Art magazine, member of China Musicians Association, director of Shanghai Musicians Association, vice president of Modern Music Association and member of Oriental Music Association and japanese pop Research Association.

He has given piano recitals in more than 5 major cities in China (more than 25 performances), the United States (more than 2 performances) and Hong Kong, and is good at improvisation. He founded the theoretical system of "Taiji Composition System" and "Music Collection Movement" and created dozens of works, which have a wide influence at home and abroad.
