Li Jing was born in Shanghai in 1952 and is originally from Beijing. Coming from a family of artists, he started learning violin at the age of six and classical (Spanish) guitar at the age of sixteen. Senior musician in the guitar field.
Graduated from Ningxia Art School in 1968. After graduation, he served as a guitar and viola soloist in the Provincial Song and Dance Troupe.
In 1989, he entered the Central Conservatory of Music to study music theory and "History of Western Guitar Music" and devote himself to the research and creation of guitar nationalization. His main representative works are: Guitar Theme and Variations "The Story of the Yellow River" Guitar Concerto "Quiet Snow Peak".
In 1989, he founded the Northern Guitar School and served as its principal. Since then, he has been committed to teaching guitar and violin. He has successively held guitar and violin workshops and done a lot of music teaching work in Suzhou, Beijing, Yinchuan and other places. Its students have won first place many times in various guitar art competitions.
In 1988, Zhuhai held the "China's First International Guitar Art Festival". Li Jing attended the event as a provincial representative and gave a demonstration report on Bach's "Lute Prelude". At this event, Mr. Li Jing conducted extensive and rigorous academic exchanges with guitar art masters from Western countries and representatives from provinces, cities and regions across the country, which played an important role in promoting the popularity and development of the guitar industry in China and the local area in the future. .
In 1993, Li Jing founded the Gray Eyes Chamber Light Music Band in Hainan, bringing the nationalization of the guitar to a new stage. While employed as a consultant to the Hainan Guitar Association, he completed the recording and broadcast of his masterpiece "The Story of the Yellow River". During this period, as a senior musician, he attracted the attention of various publicity media. Hainan TV, Hainan Radio and CCTV 3 did exclusive interviews and reports on his album. Since then, Mr. Li Jing has gone to Thailand twice for inspection and exchange of folk music and art. He is also employed as a violin and guitar instructor at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Thailand. After returning to China, Mr. Li Jing has been engaged in teaching guitar and violin. He has successively conducted multiple guitar art training classes in Fengtai Shaogong, China Agricultural University and various cultural and art centers, and implemented good foreign teaching experience.
