Karl Bohm (Karl Bohm, August 24, 1894 - August 1981 August 14), Austrian conductor, a famous conductor in the 20th century; born in Graz, Austria.
He officially engaged in conducting in 1919; from 1932 to 1933, B?hm worked in Hamburg and met the music master Richard Strauss; from 1934 to 1943, he served as the music director of the Dresden State Opera , served as conductor of the Vienna State Opera from 1943 to 1945.
After World War II, B?hm successively collaborated with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, and was awarded the title of "Austrian Music Director" and the honor of lifelong conductor of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra; his conducting skills are superb.
