Weishanhu Duanguqiang, also known as Duangongqiang, is a traditional Han folk art that originated along the Weishan Lake in Weishan County and Dongping County, Shandong Province. The accompaniment of the original "Duangu Tune" is a few sheepskin drums, and the sound is monotonous and does not add to the atmosphere. "Weishan Hu Duan Gu Tune" has a wide range of performances, rich tunes, and beautiful melodies. It can be sung in different tunes with ease. It is an important material for the study of ancient Han folk music. It is listed in the first batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage and the third batch of national intangible cultural heritage in Shandong Province.
