Professional Examination Contents 1. National Vocal Music ⑴ Preliminary test: Sing two Chinese national vocal music works (Chinese art songs, Chinese opera excerpts, traditional folk songs, national style composition songs and drama folk art arias are all acceptable). In order to broaden the selection of male voices in national vocal music, the male voice can sing a foreign work instead of one of the above-mentioned Chinese works. ⑵ Retest: ① The content of the test is the same as that of the initial test, but the repertoire must not be repeated; ② Music theory, dictation, and sight-singing.

Orchestral instrument performance ⑴ Preliminary test: ① Strings (performed from memory, without accompaniment): A. Violin: Play three-octave major or minor scales and a set of seven arpeggios, and three octaves of the same tune. , six and one octave double scales, two etudes of different natures; a movement from Bach's unaccompanied sonatas and suites. B. One etude or piece of music of your own choice, which is required to fully demonstrate the sense of rhythm and basic skills and techniques. The level of repertoire to be played should not be lower than or equivalent to the listed teaching materials: Delecruz's "Snare Drum Tutorial", Anthony Cerroni's "Rhythm Portraits", Mitchell Peter's "Small Advanced Tutorial", Eckhart Kohl's Inside "Snare Drum Tutorial".
B. Marimba (required to play from memory, two mallets or four mallets are acceptable)
a. Twelve major keys and two related minor keys (harmonic minor) Octaves, arpeggios and broken chords (including tonic triads and dominant seventh chords in major keys, tonic triads and diminished seventh chords in minor keys), draw lots to play one set.
b. Etude: Choose one of your own, which can fully demonstrate basic skills and techniques. The repertoire to be played should be no less than or equivalent to the listed textbooks: "Twenty Etudes adapted for the xylophone" by Delecrouse, "Modern Xylophone, Marimba and Vibraphone Tutorial" by Morris Goldenberg. c. ④ Harp (played from memory): Play four-octave scales and arpeggios in a key of your own choice, one etude and one piece of music. The etudes must be etudes by Poseidon, Diez or Baucosa, and the music must be works by Bach or Handel.
⑵ Re-examination: ① Strings (perform from memory, accompaniment by yourself): A. Violin: Choose the first movement of the concerto (plus cadenza) or the second and third movements, and choose a technical piece. B. ④ Harp (played from memory): Choose two pieces of music from different periods, one of which needs to be selected from the listed repertoire, Rossetti Sonata, Saint-Sa?ns Sonata, Haydn Variations on a Theme. ⑤Music theory, dictation, and sight-singing. ⑶ Remarks: All professional re-examination repertoire must not repeat the repertoire for the initial examination; instruments must be brought by oneself; electronic accompaniment is not allowed. For candidates who perform their self-selected pieces for too long, the judges may terminate their performance based on specific circumstances. 9. Piano ⑴ Preliminary test: The first piece: a Chopin etude (except OP.10NO.3, OP.10NO.6, OP.25NO.2, OP.25NO.7); the second piece: Classical Sonata Allegro movement , only the presentation and development parts (selected from the following composers: Clementi, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert). ⑵ Retest: ① The first piece: Bach's Twelve Equal Temperaments (only the fugue part is played); the second piece: a self-selected, large-scale piece (both foreign and Chinese works are acceptable); the third piece: independent processing Music work ability test, one designated piece, collected on site during the initial test; ②Music theory, dictation, and sight-singing. 10. Double-key professional re-examination: During improvisation, candidates will be given 5 minutes to read the questions before entering the examination room (testing on double-key or piano is not allowed); during sight-reading, candidates will be given 5 minutes to read the questions before formally performing the sight-reading questions. 30 seconds to read the questions (testing on double row keys is not allowed). 11. Modern Music ⑴Preliminary test: ①Singing: two songs (at least one popular song, bring your own accompaniment and accompaniment tape). ②Modern Keyboard: Play one jazz-style piece, one medium-sized piece, improvisation (including pop music function marks and pop music rhythms, such as blues, jazz, rock, etc.); sight-reading. ③ Saxophone, jazz trombone, jazz trumpet: choose two or more key signatures (including two key signatures) and one scale and arpeggio (play two octaves and legato once each), and play large and medium-sized music. One piece (without accompaniment); sight-reading. ④ Jazz drums: Play one or two pieces of music or etudes on melodies (marimba or piano are acceptable) and jazz drums, improvise (including various rhythms of popular music); sight-reading. ⑤Classical Guitar: Play one etude, choose one piece from a Bach suite, one classical work, one romantic (or 20th century) piece; sight-read. ⑥Electric Bass: Play one arpeggio of a scale of more than two octaves in a key of your own choice, one etude, and one piece of music of your own choice (without accompaniment); sight-reading of music notation. ⑦Electric guitar: Play one piece of folk guitar (fingerstyle guitar) and one piece of electric guitar (jazz or rock style) (without accompaniment); sight-read the music notation. ⑧Electronic accordion: One Bach or Scarlatti polyphonic work and one piece of music (popular or modern, Chinese or foreign); sight-reading and improvisational arrangements. ⑵ Re-examination: music theory, dictation, sight-singing. ⑶ Remarks: If you bring your own musical instrument, you are required to memorize the music and sing and play.
12. Music Education and Performance ⑴ Preliminary Examination: Candidates can choose one of the following two to take the exam: ①Piano: Choose one etude or polyphonic work (Bach’s Well-Tempered Fugue part) and one piece of music; Vocal music : A song of your own choice. ② Vocal music: Two songs of your own choice (one Chinese work is required); Piano: Choose one etude, polyphonic work, or piece of music. ⑵ Retest: ① Play four octaves of scales and arpeggios (within three sharps and three flats, choose any one of natural major and harmonic minor); ② Two-part playing and singing: play one part and sing at the same time Another part (there is no limit to the solfa method, any one can be selected); ③Music theory, dictation, and sight-singing. ⑶Remarks: Singing (playing) from memory is always required.
