In 1976, Zheng Pingchang graduated from Guangdong People's Art Institute of China. (Note: The current Xinghai Conservatory of Music was once a department of the college)

From 1976 to 1984, Zheng Pingchang worked in the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra of China (chief performer)

From 1984 to 1990 , Zheng Pingchang works at China Pearl River Film Production Company as deputy director of the editorial department, and concurrently serves as the art director of White Swan Video Company, a Sino-foreign joint venture.

In 1991, Zheng Pingchang moved to Singapore and founded Feishi Music Group Company and served as the company's managing director.

Before moving to Singapore, Zheng Pingchang was a national first-class actor, a member of the Chinese Musicians Association, a director of the Popular Music Association, and the music director of Singapore Master Music Pte. Ltd.
