I am currently a sophomore in music education. I think your situation is largely a teacher problem. There are no bad students, only bad teachers. Vocal music is difficult to put into words. If you feel uncomfortable in your throat after singing, such as not wanting to speak or having a hoarse voice, it is best to find another teacher. Vocal music teachers are generally older and more experienced (teachers from music conservatories are generally better), and vocal music teaching must be experienced to a large extent. The first thing to do when learning vocal music is to turn it on. Have you turned it on? There is a buzzing sound when it is turned on. (The specific method needs to be practiced by your vocal teacher.) Then focus, so that the sound will not scatter. If your family does not have the means to contact a teacher from the music school again and again, you can go there first to see what the problem is. The teachers there will have more professional opinions.
