Not all students attend the Red River campus during their sophomore year. Some majors, such as the School of Music, the School of Chemistry and Environmental Science, the Department of Biological Sciences, and adult education-related majors, currently study at the Xinghu Campus for four years. In addition, most professional universities now study at the Honghe Campus for four years, for example: The School of Fine Arts, the School of Mathematics and Statistics, the School of Computer Science, the School of Educational Science, the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, the School of Materials Science, the School of Physical Education, the International Class of the School of Economics and Management, the School of Service Outsourcing and other related majors have been on the Honghe campus since they were freshmen. Related majors such as the School of Foreign Languages, the School of Political Science and Law, the School of Literature and Media, the School of Tourism, the School of Economics and Management, etc. are on the Xinghu campus during their freshman year, and move to the Honghe campus during their sophomore year.
