Synopsis

The president of the United States suffers from conscience, often dreams of the tragic scene after nuclear war, and his mental pressure is so great that he wants to negotiate with the Soviet Union to abolish nuclear weapons. Bob, the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, wants to assassinate the president in order to maintain America's nuclear superiority. At the same time, psychologist Paul is studying a method to make therapists enter patients' dreams, guide them to overcome nightmares and treat sleep disorders. This technology is becoming more and more mature, so that the hero Alexei can enter other people's dreams with his mind. Finally, in the dream of the president's nuclear war ruins, the president, the assassin Tommy and the hero Alexei fought fiercely. Of course, justice finally defeated evil. Tommy and Bob were both killed in their dreams. In this movie, a universal "rule" of virtual reality theme appeared later: if a character is killed in the virtual world, he will also die in the real world. Although the later online virtual world is different from controllable dreams, it also inherits this "law".
