Wind instruments include reeds and rice flutes; plucked instruments include jing, mouth reed, and small sanxian; percussion instruments include elephant drums, cymbals, etc. The Blang reed pipe is different from the Miao reed pipe. It is made of 14 sheng seedlings inserted into a wooden pipe in two rows. It can play octaves, fifths, fourths and other harmonies, and the tunes are often played in sustained tones of high and low octaves. Used for singing and dancing accompaniment or solo. It is a reed wind instrument introduced from the Dai people. It is composed of copper reeds and bamboo tubes. It mostly plays music adapted from Bulang folk songs, such as "Ze La", "Zan Pulai" (cotton picking song), etc.
