Self-appraisal is a personal self-summary at a stage. It can give people motivation to work hard. You might as well sit down and write a self-appraisal. How should we write a self-evaluation? Below are the self-identifications of journalists that I have collected for you (5 general articles). I hope it will be helpful to you. Journalist Self-Assessment 1
In mid-June 20xx, through the introduction of Vice President xx, I came to the Current Affairs News Department of the "Changjiang Business Daily" and started my last internship during my school days. Although this internship was not as lucky as last year’s summer internship, where I could personally experience undercover investigations and interviews and reports on the Beijing Olympics by domestic front-line news portals, but during the more than three months of internship, as an accompanying reporter, I successfully interviewed the former President of the United States. Carter came to Wuhan to interview and report on relevant activities such as the opening ceremony of the Sino-French Cultural Spring, and also reported on the deeds of "Wheelchair Angel" Dong Ming, Wuhan's "March 8th Red Flag Bearer" Li Hanwei, "Hanzheng Street Confucian Businessman" Chen Yongyi and other advanced and typical deeds Relevant reports were carried out and achieved good results. It can be said that the internship of more than three months has made me gain knowledge, opened my eyes, and increased my experience. This graduation internship has benefited me a lot!
The reporter who led me, Mr. Wang Jun, is a top student at Wuhan University Law School. He has been engaged in journalism for five years. He is an excellent frontline reporter and mainly covers the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, and the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office. Disabled Persons' Federation, Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation, Provincial Civil Affairs Department, Civil Affairs Bureau, Provincial Political Consultative Conference, Municipal Political Consultative Conference, Youth League Provincial Committee, Youth League Municipal Committee, provincial and municipal democratic parties, and Qiaokou District Committee and District Government. During the four-month internship, Teacher Wang carefully taught me, from simple press releases to in-depth investigative reports to large-scale special topics in newspapers, and gradually trained me, and successively introduced some correspondents and unit publicity contacts. He gave me the knowledge and allowed me to let go of discovering news clues and making some press releases. It provided me with many opportunities to exercise and greatly improved my news business capabilities. After several months of internship, I gradually became familiar with the work rhythm of frontline reporters, the channels for obtaining news, the methods of digging for news clues, and the basic common sense of news writing in urban newspapers. Below are some of my experiences and insights during my internship.
1. I had the honor to meet former US President Jimmy Carter and interview the French Consul General in Han Fei Yong.
Because I travel to provincial and municipal foreign affairs offices, I have many opportunities to interview and report on activities related to foreign guests visiting Han. On January 15, 20xx, former US President Carter and his wife came to Wuhan. Because the Foreign Affairs Office did not notify us in advance, Teacher Wang and I hurried to the Hubei Provincial Museum. After listening to the staff’s introduction, we found out that former US President Carter had come to Wuhan. I immediately realized that this was a big manuscript, so I divided the work with Teacher Wang to conduct interviews. After returning to school, I wrote the materials I interviewed into a manuscript and passed it to Teacher Wang. After sorting it out, we wrote "The Carters Travel to the Province" "Bofu rings the bell and his wife plays the drum." This manuscript was reprinted by Sina, Tencent, Sohu and other media.
On the evening of March 8, 20xx, the opening ceremony of the Sino-French Cultural Spring was held at the official residence of Fei Yong, the French Consul General in Han. Because Teacher Wang has other interviews, I will conduct the interview for this event. During the media reporter’s question time, I interviewed Consul General Fei Yong on some issues that concerned me, and had some exchanges with him after the meeting. Although these exchanges were achieved with the help of an interpreter, Mr. Consul and I There was a great interaction, which was very effective in further digging out news facts. Afterwards, I wrote a press release titled "The Sino-French Rock Concert will be held on the Hankou River Beach in June".
2. Do everything possible to dig out news clues.
In addition to being provided by the unit, a large part of the news clues for frontline reporters must be mined by the reporters themselves. On January 10, 20xx, the 20xx Employment Assistance Week for Disabled Persons in Hubei Province was launched in Ezhou. Because Teacher Wang had other interviews, I, as an accompanying reporter, went to Ezhou alone to conduct interviews. At the launch ceremony, I found that Tong Liang, the representative of the disabled, was quite newsworthy, so I interviewed him and got his QQ number so that I could go back and write articles for supplementary interviews. Afterwards, in addition to publishing the article "Launch of "Employment Assistance Week for Disabled Persons"", I also published a report about Tong Liang, "A disabled graduate of Wuhan University "invested overseas" and had hundreds of resumes to find a job." This article was Reprinted by Xinhuanet Hubei Channel.
In early March this year, Zhang Guoguo, the disabled correspondent of the Commercial Daily, wrote a newsletter about the deeds of the disabled Liu Yingchun. Teacher Wang sent me to interview Liu Yingchun. Because more than ten days have passed since Liu Yingchun subdued two gangsters alone, there is no timeliness at all, and there is no entry point for reporting. However, when I interviewed Liu Yingchun at his home, I found that "it was raining heavily outside and light rain inside." " Through interviews, we learned that this was caused by the stampede by the two gangsters (Liu Yingchun's family is relatively poor and lives in a shanty house). So, I started with Liu Yingchun's troubles about "light rain" at home on a rainy day, and brought out the story of him capturing a bandit alone. The manuscript was published in the "Changjiang Business News" the next day.
3. Maintain good relations with all parties and continuously expand news sources.
After the Chinese New Year, the newspaper office adjusted its front lines, and Teacher Wang began to run for the CPPCC and the Democratic Party. Because the front line had just been changed, everything including the correspondent network had to be established again. In early March, Teacher Wang and I came to the Wuhan CPPCC for the first time. Director Ruan, who was in charge of publicity, was very nice and enthusiastically helped us introduce the relevant work of the CPPCC and the rules of media reporting. He also introduced us to the CPPCC Proposal Office and I know the person in charge of the Information Department. At the proposal section, we went through a lot of trouble to see the proposal of the CPPCC members and got some news clues from the proposal. After contacting and interviewing the proposer, we wrote reports such as "Chairman of Jiangxia CPPCC Calls for Building Zhongshan Ship Grand Tourist Circle" and "After Rain and Clear Sky, 420,000 Grave Sweepers Crowded the Cemetery", which attracted much attention.
In addition, we also obtained news background materials from the proposal of the Wuhan Municipal Committee of the Kuomintang Revolutionary Committee "Abolition of Bad Funeral Customs and Promoting Green Funerals" and prepared to make a manuscript about green funerals based on this proposal. Subsequently, in the name of the newspaper, we invited one of the drafters of the report, Xiao Bohong, a member of the Jianghan District CPPCC and deputy chairman of the Jianghan District Working Committee of the Wuhan Municipal Committee of the Kuomintang, to join us on an on-site visit to some cemeteries and funeral homes in Wuhan. He wrote "Wuhan cemetery prices have increased five times in 10 years. CPPCC members secretly visited and revealed huge funeral profits" (the author's name is a pseudonym due to other factors). The manuscript was reprinted by more than 40 media including NetEase and Sohu, and quickly became a hot topic in society. After this manuscript was published, it was well received by Director Ruan of the CPPCC. With his intervention, we obtained a login account that can view the website of the CPPCC members’ proposals. In this way, if we want to see the proposals, we don’t have to go to the CPPCC. The larger ones make it easier for us to conduct interviews and expand our news sources.
During my graduation internship, from December 18th to now, for more than three months, I have been on the frontline with my teacher, interviewing government officials, foreign guests, people with disabilities at the bottom, Olympic champions, doctors, etc. I have a personal experience of journalists "traveling thousands of miles and meeting people from all walks of life". Although being a reporter can be very hard and tiring, and you may even be tempted and threatened in this way, this has further strengthened my idea of ??being an upright journalist after graduation. At the end of the report, I would like to encourage everyone to keep the dream of journalism alive. Thank you to Dean Dong for providing me with such an opportunity, thank you to Mr. Wang Jun from Business News for your careful teaching, and thank you to all the people who have given me care and help. It is you who have given me motivation and allowed me to continue to grow. Thank you! Journalist Self-Assessment 2
Time flies, and XX is coming to an end in a blink of an eye. Looking back on the road of self-study over the past few years, I have gained a lot and it is worth recalling.
In terms of ideological cultivation, I continue to pay attention to current affairs, update theoretical knowledge in a timely manner, conscientiously study the party's line, principles and policies, and continuously enhance my ability to distinguish right from wrong.
When I started working, I unswervingly chose the path of self-study as an effective means to improve my personal quality and enhance my work ability. Over the years of self-study, I am full of joy and sometimes a sense of loss. When I absorb new and useful knowledge from my studies and eliminate some doubts, I am full of confidence in my studies; , you will also feel a little bit lost when you can't study calmly and it's difficult to achieve good results. However, through unremitting efforts and the selfless support of my family, confidence and diligence finally defeated disappointment and laziness, and I finally passed all the courses.
The purpose of learning a major is to apply what you have learned and not be trapped by a diploma. This is the goal I set for myself when I started self-study. Over the past few years, through studying journalism, I have been able to grasp the basic elements of journalism, learned to evaluate news works, and was able to write some news works.
During my studies, I discovered some connections between journalism and law. When writing my graduation thesis, I selected the points of convergence between journalism, law and ethics, and focused on issues related to strengthening the professional ethics of journalists. Although Some of the views may seem superficial in the eyes of scholars, and it is inevitable that they will look like a fool in a well. However, what is admirable is that the instructor and the defending teacher still gave a positive evaluation to my discussion on the relationship between morality and law, which made I feel so relieved. Through self-study, I have made great progress in journalism and law, and this knowledge can be fully applied to work and become a handy tool.
Some old problems that troubled me in the past can be solved with new knowledge and they seem to be easy to solve. At this point, I have to be grateful that I chose law and journalism, two of the most prominent disciplines in the field of self-study, which made my work and study rich and colorful.
Today, graduation from the undergraduate journalism program is not the end of self-study life, but the beginning of a new stage of self-study. In my future work and life, I will continue to follow this path and strive for a double harvest in career and life.
Thanks to hard study, I now have the ability to adapt to social work. I am mentally motivated and have always been willing to help others. I have participated in youth volunteer activities many times. Respect teachers, unite classmates, and create a good environment for your study and life. Journalist Self-Assessment 3

Looking back on the internship life of these xx days, I have a lot of emotions. What impressed me most was that journalism internship is a very important step for every journalist, and it is a necessary step for our journalism major to put theoretical knowledge into action. Through internships, we can be exposed to practical work related to the major, enhance perceptual understanding, comprehensively apply the theoretical knowledge learned, the basic skills and professional knowledge developed, unify theory and practice, use theory to guide practice, and improve ourselves in society. Among them, in front of students, the practical ability in school is not just limited to book knowledge and theoretical thinking. During these xx days of internship, I gained a lot of knowledge that I couldn't learn in school, my overall quality has been greatly improved, I have realized the glory and responsibility of being a journalist, and I have understood how to be an excellent journalist. The hardship and fatigue required.
On the morning of Sunday x, x month x, 20xx, under the leadership of the team leader, a group of us came to xxx TV station. After a brief introduction under the leadership of the department head teacher, We followed our respective instructors to their respective departments. As soon as we entered the studio, we were immediately surrounded by the enthusiasm of the teachers. They applauded to welcome us. In our hearts, we really felt that we were a real teacher. I became a journalist, and that sense of honor inspired a dream that had been buried in my heart for a long time - I want to be a qualified journalist! In the first week, our main task is to become familiar with the work environment and the department. After watching the teacher work in the office for a week, I gradually got to know him more. I went from not knowing at all to a little bit, to being able to go out to shoot alone, come back to write, and finally be able to complete the film independently. Coupled with daily observation and communication with Director X and other teachers, I quickly became familiar with everything here.
In the first week of the formal internship, I and x other classmates chose the Social Education Department. What impressed me most was that the workload of this department was really heavy. After a month, we each had our own task, but in the process of completing the task, because I was involved in some problems for the first time, for example, when writing, sometimes I didn’t know how to express my thoughts in what language, and what kind of words were better. When editing, At first, it seemed like I was reading the manuscript to find the pictures. The cuts were fragmented and I didn’t have more experience to solve the problem. I still need further study and more time to improve.
In the following time, I really started to go out to shoot. Although the picture quality was not high at the beginning, I still felt pretty good. This is a beginner after all. The word "beginner" may be used here. It's inappropriate, but the facts tell us that going from school to TV station is just like being a beginner.
News is everywhere. When working in the media, you must be a role model and lead by example. In normal times, you must pay more attention to maintaining a good image as a journalist. I often work overtime and study on weekends; I insist on getting to the office early to clean and organize files. And during the internship process, I participated in the film reviews and meetings with the teachers, and never missed any learning opportunities: when shooting, follow the teacher's instructions carefully and protect the equipment. Strictly demanding myself in work and daily life, and learned the principle of being a human being before doing things. This is very important, the teacher said, because when we step into society, the first thing we face is being a human being, and the second is business, because business has an adaptation process, so I am always fulfilling the duties of an intern reporter during my internship.
In general, this internship was an important social lesson for me, and I benefited a lot. In this process, I have a better understanding of how hard it takes to become an excellent journalist. When entering society, there are too many things to learn.
Looking back on these xx days, I worked hard, but hard work does not necessarily mean success. After all, I am an intern. There are still many shortcomings in shooting and overall thinking, and I still lack camera experience. , or even because the whole picture cannot be taken or the picture is blurred, the teacher pointed out the mistake and felt ashamed. On the road to being a real journalist, I have taken the first step, and there will be second and third steps... But no matter what, I will work hard to integrate everything I learned during the internship. In my future career, I will treat work with my sincerity, because I am facing a noble profession. Facts tell me that I should have confidence in myself and have the courage to try. Even if you fail in the attempt, you can still grow yourself. Without the opportunity to exercise, how can you accumulate and grow? And all of this, you can only rely on yourself to fight and wait, which can only make you die in silence. Only by taking initiative can you create good opportunities for yourself. Internship has accompanied me through setbacks and joys! Although the internship experience has passed, I will still look back to see the footprints I left there. I believe that will not be the destination of my journey, but the beginning of my journey full of challenges and hopes. Journalist Self-Assessment 5
"All the heroes in the world are my generation. As soon as they enter the world, they will immediately rush." ??With the change from school to social environment, the people around me have completely changed their roles, and classmates have become colleagues. , the way of getting along is completely different. In this huge change, you may feel hesitant, confused, and unable to adapt to the new environment immediately. Maybe you can't stand the cruel competition among peers, and you can't stand the indifferent eyes and words between colleagues.
Many times I feel that I am not valued by my leadership, and all I do is irrelevant chores. My suggestions or work are not recognized by my leadership. When you fail to achieve results, there will be pressure from all aspects, including the looks from your boss and the ridicule from your colleagues. In school, with the care and support of my classmates and teachers, I just go to class every day, which is very relaxing.
"What you learn in college is not knowledge, but the ability called self-study." Only after joining the work can you deeply understand the meaning of this sentence. The theoretical knowledge learned in textbooks is rarely used. My usual job is just to help update news and help teachers write manuscripts, and I hardly use the professional knowledge I have learned. When revising the manuscript, I can only work hard on self-study to master the knowledge of journalism as soon as possible based on my previous experience. On weekdays, I use my brain and hands diligently, and am eager to learn and ask questions. In order to learn the knowledge I wanted, whenever I had time, I asked the teacher to borrow a camera and went out to collect photos. After a period of exploration, I began to get into the groove. I got many internship training opportunities in different positions, learned a lot of practical things, and gradually got to know myself, understood what I needed to do and what I had to do, and also had new understanding and plans for study and life. It should be said that this whole process is like a sponge absorbing water, a process of absorbing a lot. But in just two months, it is impossible to say that I have learned all the skills and abilities.
The teacher is right. The most important thing about an internship opportunity is not to learn how to write news, but to see how a media person does it or as a reporter in a society with advanced information. How to do journalism. I think it makes sense. Every day, I record what I see, learn and feel, because I think recording is a habit and a gesture that allows me to look back and see what I have done when I stay, and therefore I will There is a clearer direction. So I basically understood that in the beginning, when you first enter the melting pot of society, the first thing you have to do is to learn how to be a person - a person who can survive in society can slowly learn to do things in the future!
In this way, time flies by. The real and unforgettable moments during the internship have made me experience a gradually mature mental journey. I have gained a lot from the interactions with my colleagues. . I rationally realized my shortcomings and deficiencies, began to re-recognize myself, and began to learn to think. Although it is an internship, I can feel a kind of pressure. I feel that there are too many things to learn and a lot of things to make up for. What I have to pay is far less simple than I thought before. I began to make my ideals concrete and realistic. This gave me a direction for the life I wanted and made it clearer what my next step should be. I think this is the most valuable thing I gained from this internship.
