The teaching of musical instrument technology first began in 1986. In that year, piano tuning students at the technical secondary school level were recruited from the secondary school affiliated to our college. The schooling lasts for three years; in September 2002, with the approval of the party committee of the college, the first batch of undergraduate students majoring in piano tuning and maintenance was officially admitted. At the same time, several batches of students in this major were also enrolled in the higher adult education level of the college.
