2. Hubei University is located in Wuhan, Hubei Province. It is a provincial key comprehensive university jointly established by Hubei Provincial People's Government and People's Republic of China (PRC) Ministry of Education. By September 20 18, Hubei University had three campuses, namely Wuchang main campus, Hankou campus and Yangluo campus, and 1 university science park, with a total area of 2 100 mu.

Wuhan University of Technology is a teaching and research university focusing on engineering, covering nine disciplines such as engineering, science, management, economics, literature, law, art, medicine and education. As of June 20 17, the school has two campuses, Wuchang and Liu Fang, with a total area of about1308,000. The school building covers an area of 926,000 square meters.
4. Wuhan Conservatory of Music, located in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, is one of the nine independent conservatories in China and the only independent music college in Central China. The school is located at No.255 Jiefang Road, Wuchang District, Wuhan.

6. Wuhan Maritime Vocational and Technical College is a public comprehensive college approved by the Ministry of Education and audited by the Ministry of Communications. It was selected as the pilot training college for China naval cadets. The school is located at Yujiahu 148, Wuchang District, Wuhan.
