Early Experience

Lu Guanting's real name is Lu Guofu , his wife later changed his name to Lu Guanting. When he was young, he moved to Seattle in the United States with his father. He grew up listening to the music of The Beatles and Bob Dylan, and unconsciously picked up the guitar to play and sing, which marked the beginning of his music career.

Graduated from Washington State University in Seattle and Cornish Music School. In 1977, Lu Guanting participated in the American Pop Song Competition and won the gold medal in the amateur category.
