Jilin University of Arts is a comprehensive art college, covering basic art disciplines, while Xi Conservatory of Music is an old professional music college, which is the cradle for training specialized music talents and musicians. The two universities have different divisions of departments and different majors. The music department of Jilin University of Arts can be compared with the music departments of other six comprehensive art colleges, but it is not comparable with the Music College. Jilin Art College, which has low teachers, academics and influence, is not even as good as the music department of Northeast Normal University in the same city. After all, there have been musicians like Lv Yuan. Xi 'an Conservatory of Music has trained thousands of composers, conductors, music theorists, performers and singers for the country since its establishment 65 years ago. Such as composers Zhao Jiping, Cheng Dazhao, Han Lankui, conductor Yan Huichang, violinist Shi and Jude Zhong, musicians Xia Yuzhou and Liu Xiaoshan, folk musicians Hu Yanmei, Jin Wei, Fan Yifeng, Niu, Ren Chang, singers He Hui, Yi Ding and Lu Jihong. Nearly 100 famous teachers, including Rao Yuyan, Liu, Dadong Liu, Gao Shijie, Luo Yifeng, Fang Jianjun, Liu Changbiao,, and Tao Liling, gathered in Xi 'an Conservatory of Music, which won the excellent evaluation of the Ministry of Education in 20 12, and tied for the top three of China Conservatory of Music with Central Conservatory of Music and Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
