Nanjing Music Station is a famous scenic spot in Nanjing’s cultural landscape.
Nanjing Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum Scenic Area Music Stage, located south of Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum Square, was built in 1932. It is a reinforced concrete structure with a semicircular plane. The center of the circle is the stage, and a large wall is built behind the stage. It has the same principle as the Beijing echo wall to collect sound waves. There is a crescent-shaped lotus pond in front of the stage. In front of the pond is a semicircular lawn, which can accommodate 3,000 spectators. There is a cement corridor surrounding the lawn, which is a good place for visitors to rest and enjoy the cool air.
