Flight precautions
You must book tickets first. Passengers can book tickets with the relevant airlines or their agents. Passengers who have reserved seats on international or regional flights should go through the formalities of purchasing tickets in accordance with the sales time limit stipulated by the airlines. If they fail to buy tickets within the time limit, the reserved seats will be cancelled.

Check in

The general order is this:

(1) Take the ticket and ID card (health declaration form during SARS) to the designated counter (generally, when you enter the airport lounge, you will see a big screen showing the counter number corresponding to each flight) and give it to the agent. She (he) will help you change your boarding pass and ask if you have any luggage to check. Remember to get back at least three things: ID card, air ticket and boarding pass.

(2) Buy insurance (20 yuan. It's not mandatory. See personal needs).

(3) Security check: Three things need to be provided here: ID card, air ticket and boarding pass.

(4) Waiting for boarding at the designated boarding gate. Pay attention to the announcement. The boarding pass indicates the boarding gate number.

Precautions:

(1) Be sure to go through the formalities half an hour before the plane takes off. Therefore, it is best to arrive at the airport in advance according to the situation, especially during the Golden Week, when Spring Festival travel rush is crowded with people. Some airports are very strict. If you don't do it then, you won't do it. For example, Beijing Airport.

(2) Friends who prefer window seats can ask the handlers to arrange window seats for you when changing their boarding passes. Generally no problem. Unless you are late, the seats are reserved for others.

(3) Some airports charge an insurance premium of around. 10 yuan when checking luggage. For example, Fuzhou Airport will force you to spend 5 yuan to buy a small lock, if your suitcase is unlocked. For example, Guangzhou Airport.

(4) The fruit knife had better be checked in the luggage, otherwise 90% may be confiscated. In addition, small animals can't be taken on the plane. It is more troublesome to check with quarantine certificate. Potted plants and flowers are ok.

Tourists are not allowed to carry inflammable, explosive, corrosive, toxic radioactive substances, polymerizable substances, magnetic substances and other dangerous goods. Passengers are not allowed to carry articles prohibited from leaving, entering or transiting People's Republic of China (PRC) (hereinafter referred to as "China") and relevant national laws, government orders and regulations, and other articles that restrict transportation. Passengers are not allowed to carry weapons, sharp weapons and murder weapons on the plane. Money, jewelry, gold and silver products, tickets, securities and other items are not allowed in traffic luggage.

(5) The check-in voucher is generally posted on the air ticket. After arriving and picking up the luggage, the staff will check whether the check-in certificate matches the label on the luggage. Be careful not to take someone else's by mistake and lose your own.

(six) flight delays or cancellations

Generally, as long as the plane is late, the airport will provide free drinks or meals during meal time (it seems that it is easier to take care of it at night than at noon). If the plane at night tells you that you can't fly that day, it depends. It is due to aircraft maintenance, flight deployment and other reasons. The airport will provide accommodation. Due to weather, emergencies, air traffic control and other reasons, you can only refund or change your ticket. In this case, the airport doesn't care about accommodation.

(7) The flight is oversold.

That is, a flight sold more votes than the number of seats on the plane. In order to protect their own profits, almost every airline has a certain proportion of oversold. In order to ensure the utilization rate of flight seats, foreign airlines generally control the proportion of oversold tickets at around 3%, while China stipulates that oversold tickets cannot exceed 5%.

You have to ask. Isn't that why some people can't board the plane? That's right. In this case, the general practice of the airport is to find volunteers among the passengers to take other flights. If there are not enough volunteers, they will refuse to board the plane. Airlines will issue compensation certificates and supporting travel preferential plans for passengers who voluntarily change their flights, and passengers who are refused boarding will receive cash compensation. Of course, instead of cash compensation, they can also ask for proof of compensation for round-trip air tickets and corresponding preferential travel plans.

Once rejected, passengers have the right to claim compensation from the airline. Specific compensation matters will be handled immediately at the check-in counter, and an agreement will be signed to waive the right to pursue responsibility from the airline in the future.

In order to avoid being taken down at the airport and delaying the trip, there are several points to pay attention to:

(1) The tighter the route, the easier it is to oversell.

(2) Arrive at the airport as soon as possible. Late goods may be reduced in price to prevent oversold.

(3) The more discount tickets, the easier it is to win the prize. Therefore, comrades who have already bought preferential tickets should go through the formalities early.

(8) Others

(1) From the point of view of aircraft comfort, the wide body of Boeing 747 is the best. It's big and smooth. Smaller planes feel better about Airbus.

(2) The seats on the plane are arranged horizontally according to A.B.C.D-. Boeing's logo is on the luggage rack. The logo of Airbus is on the small light above the seat. If you can't find it, you can ask the stewardess for help. Narrow-body aircraft generally have 6 seats in each row. A and f are windows.

(3) The small countertops of some models are not on the back of the chair, but hidden in the armrests next to the seats, which can be lifted and taken out.

(4) Snacks and drinks are provided on the plane. Dinner will also be served at mealtimes. Two boxes. One is from China and the other is foreign (rice+bread). If you are not full, you can have another one. You can drink less water. Although there is a toilet on the plane, it should be stopped as long as there is airflow. Besides, are you willing to wait in line when there are many people?

(5) Don't forget to turn off your cell phone before taking off (nonsense). Ha ha. The stewardess will tell you.

(6) When taking off or landing, chewing gum with your mouth open is also effective if your ears are uncomfortable. Stop choking.
