Postgraduate Education in Music College of Inner Mongolia Normal University
The college has two master's degree programs in musicology and minority art, and the master's degree program in musicology is set up in 1986, which is one of the first three universities in China with the right to award. There are four research directions: composition theory and teaching, music appreciation and teaching, vocal music singing and teaching, piano performance and teaching.

The master's degree program of minority arts jointly established with the Academy of Fine Arts has the research direction of national music. In addition, the college also has the enrollment rights of master of music and master of education.

During the period of 1999, the college musicology degree program was awarded the right to pursue a master's degree with the same academic ability as graduate students, and two graduate degree courses were enrolled.

At present, there are seven research directions in graduate education in our college, including master tutor 10, 34 graduate students and 44 research-oriented degree students.

Our scientific research work is very active. Over the years, we have completed many national and provincial scientific research projects and published a large number of monographs and papers. Won many provincial, ministerial and bureau-level awards. At present, it undertakes 3 national projects, 1 provincial project 1 and more than 10 school-level projects.

1999 Entrusted by the Department of Sports, Health and Arts of the Ministry of Education, the national academic seminar on ethnic music education was successfully held. Through this conference, we broadened our academic horizons, established close ties with well-known experts in the music industry, and expanded the social visibility and influence of our institute in China.

Our college attaches great importance to the characteristics of music major, vigorously develops artistic practice activities and establishes a supporting system for classroom teaching and stage performance practice. Students won numerous awards in various competitions at all levels during their school days and after graduation, such as winning many awards in the CCTV National Young Singers TV Grand Prix, and the women's choir of our college won the second prize in the 20001National College Students Art Song Competition.

In recent years, the college has expanded academic exchanges at home and abroad and established close ties with domestic professional colleges and normal universities. Invited domestic well-known authoritative experts and experts from Japan, France, the United States and other countries to give lectures and lectures in our college as part-time and visiting professors. Invited college leaders to successfully visit Tokyo University of the Arts, Kyoto University of the Arts, Geneva Conservatory of Music and many other internationally renowned universities and establish inter-school contacts.
