Appreciation of the Fifth Symphony in B flat major
The first movement: Andante-B flat major-sonata form

The two themes in the presentation part are first played by the flute, and then the strings respond. The developmental part is short, and tends to be flat after an orgasm, and enters the reproductive part. Encouraged by the horn and trumpet, the mood rose again, and timpani and gongs joined in, forming a violent ending.

The second movement: Allegro -D minor-Scherzo

After the third beat of the violin, the clarinet first presented the main theme, and the violin echoed with the piano, attracting the horn, snare drum Jr., trumpet and trombone, which made the atmosphere particularly relaxed (this is prokofiev's optimistic spirit, from which we can know that he is good at creating musical comedies). There is a slight euphemism in the middle of the three tones (B flat major), but the emotional motivation still fluctuates in the bass. After the rotation linkage, it entered the main theme again, but this time the mood was much higher, which laid the groundwork for the warm ending of the movement.

Third Movement: Flexo -F Major-Variations on Two Themes

This movement is very similar to the third movement of Beethoven's ninth symphony in D minor. The first theme is particularly soft, and the smooth notes of violin and clarinet add a harmonious and comfortable atmosphere to the music. The second theme is also B flat major, played by violin and viola. After two variations, the violent horn sounded, breaking the quiet atmosphere (prokofiev also used a big gong, a timpani and a small snare drum here, and used Schoenberg harmony to make the disharmony atmosphere stronger). After the climax, the bass string seemed to be afraid to play with its head down, but there was a continuous jump, which disintegrated the mood and ran directly to the fourth movement.

The fourth movement: Allegro-B flat major-Rondo.

Under the background of bass strings, clarinet plays a formal theme in the high-pitched area, and the complicated beat of violin adds a lot of interest to music. With the high mood, it is finally more brilliant. This movement is the core of the work and the most difficult part to play.
