Music teaching thought
Orff music and wonderful music are better children's music courses.

Orff's music teaching method was founded by the famous German musician carl orff. This is an original music education system. It endows music education with brand-new anti-traditional ideas and methods, and has a far-reaching impact on music education in many countries and regions. Reflecting on the present situation of music education in China, we still follow the old mode of singing and teaching music theory knowledge for a long time, ignoring students' emotional stimulation and experience of music and ignoring students' subjectivity, initiative, individuality and creativity in music learning. A careful study of Orff's thought and system of music education will give us many useful inspirations.

Starting from the origin and essence of music, that is, "appeal to sensibility and return to humanism"-this is the basic idea of Orff's music education. This is fundamentally different from our original understanding of the essence and purpose of music education.

Orff believes that expressing thoughts and emotions is an instinctive desire of human beings, which is naturally expressed through language, singing (including instrumental performances) and dancing, which has been the case since ancient times. This is the innate ability of people. The primary task of music education is to constantly stimulate and enhance the expressive force of this instinct, but good performance is not the ultimate goal. However, our traditional understanding of music education is not so. Our curriculum has always regarded singing, music theory and related musical skills and abilities as the means and objectives of aesthetic education, with the focus on how to learn well.

In fact, it is not difficult for students to sing, play the piano and dance instinctively in music learning, and they can even show a certain level. Because instinctive singing, playing ball and dancing are all in line with human nature, in this process, students are not worried about being trained or losing face, so they will get various degrees of satisfaction. This natural form of expression also helps to promote the germination of students' improvisation. Because of the germination and encouragement of this creativity, students are in the best state of learning all kinds of music skills and abilities. In this teaching process, teachers must become the guides, inducers and participants of students' learning. Enjoying body and mind and learning art complement each other. This is one of the important characteristics of Orff's teaching method.

The initial mode of music education in China was simply to teach singing-the teaching materials mainly appeared one by one in the form of songs. Later, there were some changes, and a few schools also learned some instrumental skills. Students mainly imitate ready-made music and art works, which is very passive. Teachers are also seriously pursuing "making achievements" and treating students severely, and students will naturally feel an inexplicable pressure. Because people's innate qualities in music are very different, there will always be some students who are far from the teaching requirements according to the original curriculum requirements in China, and naturally "stay away from music", and teachers are also very helpless. In this regard, Orff's teaching philosophy and system should enable us to get a lot of inspiration from it.
