Yan Weiwen, a native of Pingyao County, Shanxi Province, graduated from China Conservatory of Music, China male singer, national first-class actor, director of China Musicians Association and tenor of the Song and Dance Troupe of the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission.

1970 was admitted to Shanxi Song and Dance Troupe. 1979 Joined the Song and Dance Troupe of the General Political Department. 1983 started to fly solo in the group in September. 1984, participated in the first Young TV Singer Grand Prix.
