Because it was originally co-organized with Central China Normal University, it became independent in 2003. The students are in the branch campus, which is equivalent to Hubei Art Vocational College renting the place of Wuhan University of Science and Technology. Hubei Arts Vocational College is located at No. 126 Huquan Street, Hongshan District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China. It was founded in 1958 and was formerly known as Hubei Arts College. It was formed by the merger of Wuhan Literature and Art Normal College and Central South Music College.
