Teaching Analysis
The design of this activity is inspired by children’s usual performance in the natural corner. Some children constantly water seeds and plants because they are fresh or curious. This kind of Unreasonable care for plants causes some seeds to fail to germinate and rot in the soil, and some plants slowly wither. When the novelty of children is over, they will forget to water the plants, resulting in malnutrition of the plants, withered leaves and dormant seeds. Because of the various problems that occurred in the natural corner, the teacher seized the opportunity and designed this activity amidst the confusion of the children. This activity first clarifies a question with children, what conditions are necessary for seed germination? Then children make assumptions and predictions based on existing experience around this issue, such as whether there should be water, whether there should be a suitable environment, temperature, etc. . Later, children were inspired by courseware materials or teachers to further understand the various factors required for seed germination. Stimulate children's attention to seed germination, and cultivate children's emotions of caring about plants and life. Finally, the children concluded that the germination of seeds must have air, moisture, environment and suitable temperature. Children also understand that it is not easy to do something well and requires a serious scientific attitude and perseverance. I believe that children in small classes have experienced such a scientific inquiry process of failure and success, which is very beneficial to their growth.
Teaching objectives:
1. Let children understand the relationship between the growth of plants, water and sunlight, and know that the growth of plants is inseparable from sunlight, air, water and other knowledge.
2. Feel the vitality of plants and deepen your understanding of the characteristics of spring.
3. Through understanding the process of seed germination, children can develop their emotions of loving and caring for plants.
Teaching preparation:
Courseware, seeds placed in water, seeds placed in dry soil, germinated seeds, seeds suitable for sowing, soil, transparent planting containers, etc.< /p>
Teaching process:
1. Create situations and introduce themes
In the cheerful song "Spring", the teacher brings the children to the activity room and performs along with the music ,dance to tune.
Teacher’s questions
1. "Do you like spring?"
2. "How does the withered grass in winter change in spring?"
3. Teacher’s summary: Spring is a very lively season, the grass is green and the seeds are sprouting
2. Observe the sprouted seed seedlings
Children observe a pot of sprouted red beans in the natural corner seeds and communicate
3. Explore the conditions for seed germination
①The teacher played the recording and heard the sound of crying. The teacher asked: "Who is crying?" (eliciting the seeds in dry soil)
The teacher asked: "Why did the seed cry? Why did it not germinate?
Summary: Seeds Germination requires water, and seeds cannot germinate without water." ② Continue to play the recording and hear the cry for help. (Introducing seeds completely submerged in water)
The teacher asked: "Why are the seeds crying for help again? Why can't they germinate?
Summary: Seeds need air to germinate. , if there is too much water, the seeds cannot breathe and will be drowned. It turns out that it is not easy for seeds to germinate and grow. They not only need water, soil and air, but also our care and care.
4. Watch the courseware "The Seeds Germinate" and construct basic experiences
1. Teacher: "Let's see how seeds germinate, grow, and bloom? "(Children can intuitively understand the process of seed germination by watching the courseware)
2. Guide children to summarize: It turns out that seeds sleep like small animals in winter because the weather is too cold. In spring, the weather gets warmer. When it rains, the seeds begin to sprout.
5. Activity extension: Plant seeds together
Teacher: "We all understand how seeds germinate. Do you want to plant them yourself?" Plant seeds? ”
The teacher and the children came to the nature corner together and each tried to plant a seed with their own hands to experience the fun of sowing. With the help of the teacher, the children put name labels on the seeds they planted and inserted them into the record sheet , to facilitate daily care, observation, and recording.
