Article 1 Go Equipment
1. Chessboard

2. Chess pieces
The chess pieces are divided into black and white, and they are all flat and round in shape.
The appropriate number of chess pieces is 180 black pieces and 180 white pieces.
Article 2 How to play Go
1. Each side of the game holds chess pieces of one color, black first and then white, and alternate moves. Only one piece can be played each time.
2. The chess pieces are placed on the points on the chessboard.
3. After the chess pieces are set, they are not allowed to move to other points.
4. It is the right of both parties to take turns, but either party is allowed to give up the right to do so.
Article 3: Qi of the Chess Piece
When a chess piece is on the chessboard, the empty point directly adjacent to it is the "Qi" of the chess piece. If there are chess pieces of the same color at the points directly adjacent to the chess pieces, they will be connected to each other to form an indivisible whole. Their Qi should also be calculated together.
If there are chess pieces of different colors at the point directly adjacent to the chess pieces, this tone will no longer exist. If all the energy is occupied by the opponent, it will be in a state of no energy. Chess pieces in an airless state cannot exist on the chessboard.
Article 4: Tips
The method of taking a weak person out of the market is called "tips". There are three types of picks:
1. After the move, the opponent's piece is out of breath and should be picked up immediately.
2. After the move, both sides' chess pieces are in a state of airlessness, and the opponent's airless pieces should be extracted immediately.
Article 5: Forbidden Points
Any point on the chessboard. For example, after a certain player places a piece, the piece immediately becomes airless, and at the same time, the opponent's piece cannot be extracted. This point , is called a forbidden point. It is forbidden to point A in the three examples of A, B, and C in Figure 2. All of them are black’s forbidden points.

Article 9: Calculate the outcome
In a chess game where both sides have completed their moves, the outcome will be calculated using the counting method.
First remove all the dead pieces from both sides and then remove them from the board. The live chess pieces of one side (including the points surrounded by the live chess pieces) are counted in units of pieces.
Each side gets half of the empty spots between the live pieces.
The basis for victory or defeat is 180 and 1/2 points, which is half of the total points on the board. The sum of one side's live chess and its empty points is greater than this number, and the one who is less than this number is a loser. It is a tie.
For chess games using the post method, the winning or losing criteria will be stipulated separately.
Chapter 2 Competition Regulations
Article 10 Determination of the order of succession
The order of the game will be determined by the conference drawing or guessing before the game. .
Article 11 Post
In order to offset the efficiency of Black's first move, when calculating the outcome of the current national official competition, Black needs to post 2 and 3/4 son.
Article 12 Timing
Timing is one of the important means to ensure the smooth progress of the game. All qualified competitions shall adopt a timed system.
1. Time limit
Depending on the nature of the game, the time limit available to each side of a game should be stipulated in advance. Players must not exceed the specified time limit. The time limit for a game of chess can be long or short. Grassroots competitions can be set to 1 to 2 hours, and national competitions are required to end within one day.
2. Countdown
In competitions that use countdown, it should be stipulated in advance how many minutes should be reserved within the time limit to start the countdown. A five-minute countdown is reserved for national competitions, and a one-minute countdown can also be reserved for grassroots competitions.
When counting the seconds, any move that takes less than one minute will not be counted. For every full minute, one minute will be deducted from the reserved time, but the allotted time must not be used up.
The countdown is performed by the referee. The seconds will be reported once at 30 seconds, 40 seconds, 50 seconds, 55 seconds, 58 seconds and one minute. Every time one minute is deducted from the reserved minute, the referee should promptly notify the players that "× minutes are left." The countdown method for the last minute is 30 seconds, 40 seconds, 50 seconds, 60 seconds, and then, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9... read out second by second in an accurate voice. The final reward is "10, overtime penalty".
The countdown method for fast chess competitions may be separately stipulated by the competition conference according to specific circumstances.
Article 13 Final Game

Article 14: Suspension and closure of games
In games that require a timeout (such as a one-day game, a timeout is required at noon, etc.) the timeout will not be counted. Game time limit.
In major competitions, a chess-blocking system can be adopted. When the game reaches the prescribed chess-blocking time and the game has not yet ended, the party that has made the move should leave the game immediately. After thinking about it, the player who has made the move should The points to be prepared are written on the record paper, then sealed and handed to the referee. During the continuation of the game, the referee will unseal it on the spot, place it in the marked position, and the game will continue.
Article 15 Competition Rules
1. Players shall not abstain from the game without any reason or withdraw from the game midway.
2. During the game, players must not engage in any behavior that hinders the opponent's thinking.
3. During the game, players are not allowed to discuss the game situation with others or consult relevant information.
4. During the game, players are not allowed to walk back and forth in the arena at will to watch other people's chess games.
5. Players should be civilized in their words and deeds and keep their clothes neat and tidy.
Article 16 Rights and Obligations of Players

2. If If a phenomenon occurs or a problem is discovered that can hinder the normal game, the player has the right to submit opinions to the referee. However, except for more urgent matters, the players should raise the issue within the time of their own moves.
3. When calculating the outcome of the final game, the players have the right to request correction of numbers and errors in calculation of outcome.
4. The referee makes a decision and the players must obey it. If there is any doubt, they should immediately appeal to the conference through the organizational procedures.
5. Players have the obligation to abide by the rules of the game.
6. If you place a piece when your opponent leaves the table, you have the obligation to tell the opponent where the piece is.
7. After the game ends, the players have the obligation to put away their chess equipment and leave the game immediately.
Chapter 3 Judgment Law
Article 17 Playing Chess
1. If one side does not abstain and the other side takes two consecutive moves, it will be deemed as consecutive moves. The second step is negative.
2. After the chess pieces are placed, they are picked up from the chessboard and placed elsewhere. The chess pieces are put back to their original places and given a warning. If the chess piece does fall, it is allowed to pick it up and choose the landing point.
3. If it is discovered that the previously played piece has moved during the game, after obtaining the unanimous consent of the players, the moved piece can be judged to be moved back to its original place, or the moved piece can be judged to be valid.
When the players disagree, they should immediately report it to the chief referee. The chief referee can make a decision based on the impact of the moving piece on the progress of the chess game:
1. Move the moving piece back. Original position;
2. The moving son is valid;
3. Draw;
4. Play again.
If the move is intentional, the mover shall be judged as a negative.
4. During the game, if the chess game is disrupted due to irresistible external reasons, the game should be continued after review and confirmation by both parties. If both parties are unable to review the hand, it will be a draw or a replay.
If the player disrupts the game unintentionally, the game can be resumed. If the game cannot be reviewed, the party that broke up the chaos will be deemed the loser.
Article 18: Picking up the child
After one move, if the opponent's energetic child is mistakenly picked up, the person who mistakenly lifts the angry child will be given a warning and the energetic child will be put back to its original place.
Article 19: Forbidden Points
If a chess piece lands on a forbidden point, the move will be deemed invalid and the player will give up once.
Article 20: The overall situation is the same again
1. If the tribulation is called back immediately, the person who made the call back will be deemed invalid and will abstain once. Figure 3
2. At the end of the game, in accordance with the principle of prohibiting the reappearance of the same shape globally, the "fake life" as shown in Figure 3 is not allowed to be used as a live chess piece.

Article 21 Ending
1. Confirmation of the turn In the end, the move is followed by a waiver. If the other party does not agree with the outcome, the move can be made again. At this time, the abstaining party regains the right to move, and the game continues until both parties confirm the end.
2. After both sides indicate that the game is over, if there are still points on the chessboard that both sides can dispute, it will be treated as double active.
3. The confirmation of dead chess and live chess must be unanimous between the two players. If there is any dispute, it will be resolved through actual combat.
Article 22: Sealing the chess
When continuing the chess, the sealing party must move according to the sealing point. If there are already chess pieces at the sealed point, it will be awarded as a forfeit and it will be the opponent's turn to make a move.
Article 23 Timing
In competitions with a timing system:
1. If one party is late and exceeds the specified time on the playing field, it will be deemed as a forfeit.
2. If both parties arrive late and exceed the specified time on the court, both parties will be deemed to have forfeited the game.
3. If one party or both parties are late within the specified time, their lateness time will be deducted from one party or both parties within the time limit.
4. When lifting the chess pieces, you must lift the chess pieces before ringing the bell. Violators will be advised or warned once. But when counting seconds, the time does not count.
5. If the player's time (including countdown) exceeds the time limit, he or she will lose the game.
6. When the players leave the table during the countdown time, the referee should continue to count the seconds in accordance with the regulations. If the timeout expires, the game will be judged as a loss. If a player urgently needs to leave the table, he must do so when his opponent is thinking and obtain the referee's consent, but only once per game.
Article 24: Competition Rules
1. If a player leaves the competition without any reason, he will be given a warning and reported to the organizing committee.
2. If a player behaves in a way that hinders others' thinking, give him advice or a warning.
3. Players who consult information or discuss chess positions with others before the game is over will be given a warning or a loss based on the circumstances.
Article 25 Others
1. For any foul phenomenon not covered by the referee law, the referee shall make a reasonable judgment in accordance with the spirit of the general rules or competition regulations. For cases that cannot be confirmed Jurisdictions should be promptly reported to the chief referee for processing.
2. The warning given to the player should be recorded in the record. If a player is given two warnings in a game, the game will be deemed a loss.
Chapter 4 Competition Methods
Article 26 Competition Types

p>If two or more teams participate, each team has the same number of players, the ranking or winner will be determined through pre-specified competition methods.
Team competitions include: table-specific system, table-substitution system, temporary table-specific system, whole-team round system, team member total points system, etc.
National team competitions generally adopt a stage-specific system. Each team will arrange the table according to the player's rank or chess skill level, and the table cannot be changed after the table is arranged.
In team competitions with substitutes, the substitution rules will be determined separately by the competition conference.
3. Division and level competition
Duan
1. Elimination system. There are three types of elimination: single elimination, double elimination and multiple elimination. Anyone who is eliminated will lose the qualification to continue. Elimination competition is suitable for situations where the number of people is large and the schedule is short.
2. Circular system. One chess player (team) takes turns competing with other participating chess players (teams).
The round-robin system is suitable for situations where the number of participants (teams) is small and the schedule allows.
The round-robin system usually adopts a one-game system, but it can also adopt a double-round system with each opponent playing two games.
3. Points arrangement system. Competitions are arranged based on the main principle of the same or similar points, and competitions are arranged for points. Since its rounds can be increased or decreased according to the situation, the schedule is between the elimination system and the round-robin system.
4. Multi-game tie-breaker system. It is suitable for games between two people, usually a best-of-three-game system, a best-of-five-game system, a best-of-seven-game system, or a ten-game system.
5. Team rotation system. It is applicable to the competition between two teams, that is, one player of one team takes turns playing against all the players of the other team.
6. Arena competition. Use the ring to engage in group confrontation.
The personnel of both parties participating in the arena competition must be arranged in order.
The way of playing in the arena is that only one game is played at a time, the loser is eliminated, and the winner then competes with the opponent plus one person. When the last player on one side loses, the arena game ends.
Article 28 Score Calculation
1. Individual competition
Scoring method. The result of each chess game is shown on the score sheet. The winner is scored with 2 points, the loser is scored with 0 points, and the tie is scored with 1 point each.
Ranking determination:
1. For competitions that adopt a round-robin system, the ranking will be based on individual points when calculating results. The person with higher points will be ranked first. If the points are the same, the following principles will be followed. Compare them one by one and rank them.
A. Accumulate the points scored by an individual against the opponent, plus half of the points scored by the opponent, and compare them with each other. The player with the higher score will be ranked first.
B. In the entire competition, the team with the fewest warnings will be ranked first.
C. The rankings are tied.
D. If the rankings are not allowed to be tied, additional games or drawings should be made to distinguish the rankings.
2. In competitions based on points, the ranking will be determined by comparing total scores. The player with the higher total score will be ranked first. The formula for calculating the total score is:
Total score = personal points + {[Total opponent points ÷ (highest points/2)] - number of rounds}
If the total scores are equal, then Distinguish the ranking according to the three items B, C and D above.
2. Team competition
Scoring method: The scoring method for each player in the team competition is the same as that in the individual competition. Each game is scored based on the number of points between the two teams. The player with more game points is the winner, and the game score is 2 points; the player with the few game points is the loser, and the game point is 0 points; the game points are tied, and the game points are each scored with 1 point.
Ranking determination:
1. In a round-robin team competition, the team with higher game points will be ranked first; if the game points are equal, the team with higher game points will be ranked first. ;If the game scores are the same, the player with the higher game score than the first player will be ranked first; compared with the following games, if all are the same, ties are allowed.
2. In a team competition with a points system, the team results will be ranked according to the total score. The total score is:
Total score = game score + {[opponent’s game score Total ÷ (highest game score ÷ 2)] - number of rounds}
If they are the same, the rankings will be determined according to the order of the round robin.
3. Play-offs to differentiate the rankings
If the competition does not allow tied rankings, play-offs can be arranged. The details of extra rounds, including the number of rounds, time limit, group size, etc., shall be stipulated in advance by the competition organizing agency.
Article 29 If a chess player withdraws from the game, the following methods will be used:
1. If a player withdraws from the game before the game starts, lots should be drawn again if time permits. .
2. In a round-robin competition, if a player withdraws from the competition and the number of games he has played is less than half of the total rounds, all his results will be invalid. If the number of games played reaches half of the round, the opponent will win each of the following forfeited games.
3. In a round-robin competition with points, if a player withdraws from the competition, his or her previous results will be valid, and subsequent rounds of competition will no longer be scheduled.
The method of calculating the points of the opponent who has played with the player: the partial points of the game are valid.
The unmatched portion should be A (i.e. points ÷ number of rounds played) × number of unmatched rounds. If A is greater than 1, it will be counted as 1

4. If a player withdraws from the match midway through a competitive match or a team match, the results of the match will be valid, and the opponent will be considered the winner in the final match.
Chapter 5 Competition Organization and Others
Article 30 Competition Organization
According to the needs of various competitions, establish corresponding competition organizations to be responsible for competitions Preparatory work, handling problems during the competition, and doing follow-up work for the competition.
The preparations for the competition mainly include:
1. According to the scale and conditions of the competition, hire a corresponding number of referees and designate a chief referee. If the number of referees is large, a deputy chief referee may also be added.
2. Determine the competition method and schedule based on the number of applicants.
3. Prepare the venue and equipment for the competition.
Article 31 Responsibilities of the Chief Referee
1. Draft supplementary regulations for this competition and provide them to the organizing committee for discussion and approval for implementation.
2. Organize referees to learn rules and procedures.
3. Clear division of labor for referees, and the right to revoke referee qualifications for referees who have seriously neglected their duties.
4. Preside over the first round draw of the competition, supervise the arrangement of the competition and the announcement of results.
5. Inspect the competition venue, equipment and utensils.
6. Handle various issues reported by referees in a timely manner and handle special cases in competition work.
7. After the competition, the winning rankings will be announced to the conference.
8. Make a summary after the game and write comments to the referee.
Article 32 Responsibilities of Referees
1. Referees should be familiar with the rules, perform their tasks seriously, fairly and accurately.
2. Implement competition regulations, Go rules and court discipline. Make timely and fair judgments on players who commit fouls or violations.
3. Responsible for the supervision, recording, timing and calculation of the outcome of the game.
4. Announce the competition results in a timely manner and do a good job in arrangement.
5. Report major issues that are difficult to handle to the chief referee in a timely manner.
6. Do not take any action that hinders the chess players from playing, and do not discuss the unfinished chess game.
7. The referee has the obligation to check the game clock accurately in a timely manner.
Article 33 Competition Equipment
1. Chessboard
The standard Go board is slightly rectangular. The equal distance of the horizontal lines is 2.25 to 2.35 cm, the equal distance of the vertical lines is 2.4 to 2.5 cm, leaving 2 cm on the outside of the disk.
2. Chess pieces
The diameter of standard Go pieces is 2.2-2.3 cm, and the thickness does not exceed 1 cm.
3. Timing clock
The Go competition timing clock is composed of two clock faces and two buttons. It is a special chess competition clock that can stop, stop and go or stop at the same time.
4. Stopwatch
Use an ordinary stopwatch for counting seconds. Watches can also be used instead for grassroots competitions.
