for local songs on your computer, you can install "itools" software on your computer, and then import the songs into your ipad after connecting it. After the import, the music playing application on the ipad will scan the songs and play them.

steps:

1. install itools on the computer.

2. use the data cable of the ipad to connect the ipad to the computer. Open itools, and the identified ipad model will be displayed on the page.

3. under my device, click "music".

4. click "import" on the right.

5. Select a song, click "Import" after "OK". You can import songs into ipad.
