The third form of Health Qigong Baduanjin must be performed individually to regulate the spleen and stomach: the spleen and stomach are the acquired foundation of the human body and the source of qi and blood biochemistry. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the spleen is responsible for rising and clearing Qi, and the stomach is responsible for eliminating and lowering turbid Qi. In this pose, the upper and lower stretches of the left and right upper limbs can stretch the abdominal cavity, have a good massage effect on the spleen, stomach, liver and gallbladder, and help them regulate qi, help digestion and absorption, and enhance nutrition.

Looking back: Five strains are the strains of the heart, liver, spleen, lungs and kidneys; Injury refers to the seven emotions of joy, anger, worry, thought, sadness, fear, and surprise. The five types of fatigue and seven injuries are like today's sub-health; long-term fatigue and failure to recuperate in time will eventually lead to the accumulation of damage. In this pose, you turn your head and arms to adjust the cervical vertebrae (called Tianzhu in traditional Chinese medicine), which are the main communication points between the brain and the organs. Not only can it help eliminate all kinds of diseases, but it can also be used as the completion of the entire routine.
The name of Baduanjin first appeared in "Yi Jian Zhi" written by Hong Mai of the Southern Song Dynasty: "In the seventh year of Zhenghe, Li Siju was a living doctor... He would sit up in the middle of the night, breathe and massage, Those who practice the so-called Ba Duan Jin." This shows that Ba Duan Jin has been spread throughout the world in the Northern Song Dynasty and can be divided into sitting postures and standing postures.
The Standing Baduanjin was first seen in health-preserving literature in the Southern Song Dynasty. Zeng Zeng wrote "Daoshu·Zhongmiaopian": "It is used to treat the triple burner by raising the palms upward; the left liver and right lung are like shooting eagles; The east and west are held separately, so it calms the spleen and stomach; the back and forth is looked at, so the pain and fatigue are taken care of; the big and small are facing the sky, so the five internal organs are connected; the throat is filled with fluid and qi, and the left and right hands are picked; the tail of the eel is moved, so the heart is dispelled. It is sick; the left and right hands can reach its feet, so it can be treated at the waist." However, the Baduanjin of this period has not been named, and its text has not yet been transformed into a song.
There is no conclusion yet as to who created Baduanjin and when it was created. However, from the "Guiding Pictures" unearthed from Tomb No. 3 of Mawangdui, Changsha, Hunan, we can see that there are at least 4 pictures that are consistent with the Ba Duan Brocade pictures: "To regulate the spleen and stomach, one must lift it alone", "Climbing the feet with both hands to strengthen the kidneys and waist", "Opening the bow from left to right is like shooting a vulture" and "the back of the body is swayed and all kinds of illnesses are gone" is similar.
The origin of Baduanjin can be traced back to the Daoyin technique in ancient times. 4,000 to 5,000 years ago, floods flooded the Central Plains of China, and the people were deeply affected by the rain and moisture. Their muscles and bones were shrunken and their qi and blood were stagnant. Wise men invented "dance" to get rid of these ailments. This "dance" for curing diseases and keeping fit later evolved into the art of Daoyin.
Daoyin is a guide who guides qi to make the body harmonious and pulls the body to make it soft. Daoyin technique is to use its own special exercise method to make the body's qi flow smoothly, straighten the bones and make the muscles soft. It can well stimulate one's own conditioning ability, eliminate pain and improve health. , delay aging.
