The music score was first published in 10, No.9 and No.0 of Volume I of Music Magazine compiled by Peking University Music Research Association in February, 920. At that time, the lyrics were "Man Jiang Hong Jin Ling Nostalgia" written by Sado Ci in Yuan Dynasty. 1,1After the May 30th Movement in 925, Yang adapted Yue Fei's "Man Jiang Hong" into the original song to express the patriotic enthusiasm of the people at that time, so it spread widely. The tune of the song is honest and powerful, and the rhythm is steady, expressing anger, high spirits and heroic feelings. The whole song is divided into two parts, the tune is basically the same, with a slight change: the first sentence in the second half adopts the typical head-changing technique in tonal music; At the end of the festival, the octave was raised, showing strong patriotic enthusiasm and determination to resist the enemy.
