Xinghai Conservatory of Music is a provincial college with two books. Xinghai Conservatory of Music, located in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, was selected as the national cultural quality education base for college students and the inheritance base of Chinese excellent traditional culture (Cantonese opera) in colleges and universities of the Ministry of Education. It is the only higher music professional college in South China.

Xinghai Conservatory of Music, formerly known as Guangzhou Conservatory of Music, was founded in 1957 and later renamed. 1958 is set as Guangzhou Conservatory of Music; 1965 merged with Guangdong Dance School to form Guangdong Art College; 1969 merged with Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts to form Guangdong People's Art College; /kloc-0 changed its name to Guangzhou Conservatory of Music in March, 978; 1981June was approved by the State Council as the Guangzhou Conservatory of Music; 1985 65438+in February, it was renamed Xinghai Conservatory of Music in memory of Xian Xinghai, a Guangdong musician.

By the end of February 2020, there were 18 undergraduate colleges (departments and departments) in China.
