Interest activities: There are more than a dozen extracurricular interest groups such as basketball, volleyball, football, music, literature, calligraphy, painting and dance in No.12 Middle School of Puyang Oilfield. Students run their own literary clubs, reporter stations, radio stations and book corners, and hold cultural and art festivals, science and technology festivals, reading festivals and sports festivals every year.

Faculty: The 12th Middle School of Puyang Oilfield has 2056 students, including 32 senior teachers and 68 first-class teachers. 48 teachers were recognized as famous teachers, academic leaders, backbone teachers and backbone class teachers in provinces, cities and oil fields.
