Goodbye, Xiamen

In Xiamen, say goodbye to 2019 gently.

In Xiamen, say hello to 2020 loudly!

After switching Meituan’s location location from Xiamen (cloudy 17°) to Hefei (overcast 7°), this means that Xiamen travel is over and campus life will be back on track.

People often say that life still needs a sense of ritual. After busy study, I took advantage of the east wind of New Year's Day and made simple preparations to embark on a three-day and two-night trip to Xiamen. While the residual warmth of the travel experience is still there, I will bid farewell to 2019 and embrace 2020 with a Xiamen travel diary.

(1) About transportation:

December 31, 2019 Xinqiao Airport (7:40) - Gaoqi Airport T4 (9:25)

Gaoqi Airport T4 (21:55) on January 2, 2020 - Xinqiao Airport (23:55)

It was the first time I experienced flying with Yaya, and I was really excited. Because I consulted friends who had flown beforehand about ticket check-in and boarding precautions, I had a general understanding of boarding, so I didn’t feel at a loss when boarding. Plus, considering it was a short trip, we had very little luggage. After purchasing tickets online and selecting seats, enter the airport in advance and complete printing of license plates, etc. on the self-service machine (PS: If you need to check in, you need to find a person.), then wait for the flight and board the plane. There are no related procedures for boarding. complex.

Personally, I think that compared to taking a train, apart from the more detailed check-in (such as taking off your coat, taking out related electronic devices, etc.), taking a plane is roughly the same as checking in on a train, so before taking a plane No need to be too nervous. Considering that ticket check-in will take some time, many people will probably remind you to enter the airport two hours in advance. In fact, specific issues need to be analyzed in detail. If you carry less things, one hour is enough. If you go too early, you will just have to wait. The plane usually checks in half an hour before departure. For example, a plane taking off at 7:40 will usually check in and board the plane around 7:10. If you need to check in your luggage, you can check in a little earlier.

After taking off, we taxied on the ground for about 30 minutes, flew in the sky for about 30 minutes, and taxied on the ground again for about 30 minutes. There was a roar all the way. When I looked around, I could see not only the wings, but also the wings. If it was a sunny day, Occasionally overlooking the clouds, it feels like flying with the clouds in "Journey to the West" when I was a child. It is also very beautiful.

After the first time, there will be a second and third time. However, I believe that the next time I buy a ticket, I will definitely choose a suitable time, such as departing in the morning and arriving in the afternoon, or departing in the afternoon and arriving in the evening, etc. I will not choose the one that departs in the early morning. Not to mention that after a night of tossing, I may still catch a flight. Get more sleep during the day.

(2) About food:

December 31:

Xinqiao Airport:

Ordered one at Yonghe Doujiu Set meal: soy milk + steamed buns + watermelon slices + eggs;

At KFC store: soy milk + chicken patties + fried dough sticks;

Since I got up early, it was still early before the plane took off. , it happened to be time for breakfast, so I went straight into the airport, and after printing my boarding pass, I saw Yonghe Soy Milk, so I ordered a set meal at Yonghe Soy Milk (soy milk + Xiao Long Bao + watermelon slices + (eggs), except for the watermelon slices and eggs, the xiaolongbao was just average, and the peanut-flavored soy milk was unpalatable. Because it tasted unpalatable and the quantity was small, both of us only ate a little bit and then groped around to see if there were any stores similar to KFC or McDonald's. Fortunately, I found KFC downstairs and ordered soy milk + chicken cake + fried dough sticks to satisfy my hungry belly.

After entering the airport, I discovered that there are some restaurants in the airport. So next time you take a plane, if you are not pressed for time, you should walk around more. Practice has proved that the first thing you see is restaurants, in most cases they cannot be considered delicious restaurants.

Airplane meal: 1 bottle of water + 1 bag of bread;

I don’t know if it’s because of exercise, but since I started jogging, I found that I often sneer at greasy things. And tend to covet those light things. To be honest, the colorless and tasteless bread distributed by the flight attendant during the flight actually tasted sweet to me when I chewed it.

Gulangyu: Shenjia rice rolls, Linjia fish balls, mango cups, roasted grass jelly, Lanzhou Ramen’s meat buns + chive pancakes;

After taking a boat to Gulangyu, follow the instructions The store's navigation route found the folk customs in the corners. After a short break, I went out to eat. I went to many shops in the streets and alleys. Each stall seemed to be filled with various kinds of skewers, because I heard from friends and drivers that the seafood skewers at the stalls were not clean. Many people suffered from upset stomach after eating it, and since they were not interested in those things, they simply chose a restaurant with a long queue and ate Shenjia rice rolls and Linjia fish balls. The taste was amazing. People, but it’s not unpalatable. Personal taste is different, so you might as well give it a try.

Regarding Shao Xiancao, many people recommend it on the Internet, and a friend of mine also highly recommends it. It is said to be one of the characteristics of Xiamen. I bought a cup for 10 yuan, which contains peanuts, raisins, and some fruits. It feels like fruit tea. To me, the taste is average and the price is not expensive. Friends who go to Xiamen for the first time may wish to give it a try.

In the evening, I walked around the streets with Yao and found Lanzhou Ramen, which he loved. It was very expensive. I ordered Roujiamo + chive pancake and went back to the inn. Unfortunately, there were only onions in the Roujiamo.

January 1st:

Gulangyu: McDonald's chicken wings + juice;

I ran into McDonald's before boarding the ship and ordered chicken wings and juice, haha , the best thing to eat in Gulangyu is probably McDonald’s chicken wings.

Zengcuo'an Xibianshe: Shacha noodles + Xiaolongbao from Shaxian Snack Shop;

After returning by boat, I put down my luggage and planned to find something to eat at Zengcuoan Xibianshe , I remember walking for a long time but didn’t find the so-called literary store. In addition, I couldn’t forget to make an appointment at Xiamen University (8:00-1:00). It was already past 12:00, so I closed my eyes and chose a nearby Shaxian snack selling Shacha noodles, 25 A serving of Sha Cha Noodles costs only NT$6. It can only be said that compared to the Sha Cha Noodles that only cost NT$6 in the Normal University, there is a huge difference. I barely ate a few bites and reluctantly cut them off.

Xiamen University: Milk Tea + Oden;

I forgot the name of the milk tea, it is full of ingredients, I want to eat a colorful popsicle and be chewed by someone; Oden is normal Taste.

Zhongshan Street: Oyster Omelette, Roasted Pork Rice Dumplings, Shacha Noodles, Coca-Cola, Tea;

I saw Oyster Omelette in the TV series "Meeting Love Around the Corner" when I was in middle school. Yes, I remember that the heroine likes to eat it very much. I ordered one on Zhongshan Street because of this memory of my childhood. The oyster omelet was just average, but the uncle who made the oyster omelet was playing loud music and humming a song. , while taking the orders of the guests with great joy, the enthusiasm for life revealed in the market is very likeable. Not to mention how the oyster omelette tastes, this optimistic attitude towards life alone can infect you. You can try the oyster omelette. The uncle’s passionate life is worth learning more about.

Zeng Cuo’an: Mango cup, oysters, popsicles;

I walked around Zeng Cuo’an for a long time, and the stalls were full of skewers. I reluctantly chose a mango cup, and I also had colorful food. The popsicles, fruits, don’t seem to have any special taste. I saw 4 boxes of mangoes for 100 yuan and wanted to buy them, but they were too heavy. I bought a mango cup with the 10 yuan I picked up before to solve the problem;

< p> Oysters are what you want to eat. They are available everywhere on the streets of Xiamen, and they are very cheap, 10 yuan for 10. But as a northerner, or thinking that Yaya will be traveling far away from home next year, the distance will inevitably be lengthened, so when I taste it, I feel that it has a bitter taste and I don't like it very much.

McDonald’s: chicken wings;

For a late night snack, Yaya ordered 4 pairs of chicken wings + chicken legs. Sure enough, this is the only kind of real meat, which makes people more excited to eat;

January 2nd:

Zengcuo’an Xibianshe: Xiaolongbao, fried steamed buns;

I woke up early and walked along the roadside alone. After waiting for a long time, I finally went to two stores to buy Xiao Long Bao and Shuijian Bao. They could only satisfy my hunger, but they were not aesthetically pleasing.

Xiahe Road: Starbucks coffee; duck noodles + fried oysters from Weiyou’s; rice dumplings from 1980 Roasted Pork Zongzi;

We are about to return today, but not yet After tasting the food I liked, I decisively took the "killer" option and took a taxi to a place frequented by locals in Xiamen. I went to the local specialty restaurant Weiyou and ordered local specialty food (duck noodles + fried oysters) and looked across the way. The table was so full of food that they even asked the waiter to add more noodles, wondering if they were rice trays. But at least it is a taste of local specialties. Only those who have experienced and tried it are qualified to comment on its taste.

Putuo Temple: Candied Haws;

There was nothing to eat at the foot of the mountain, so I bought a bunch of candied haws as an energy bar before going up the mountain. < /p>

At the entrance of Xiamen University: hot and sour soup, pot stickers;

After trying the duck noodle soup from Weiyoujia, I felt that the hot and sour soup was super delicious, with a little bit of sourness. Spicy, spicy and mixed with a little sourness, but not the kind of acid that makes teeth sour;

Regarding pot stickers, someone ordered one of each of the three flavors, and the review said This is the best pot sticker I have ever eaten so far. With such a tricky mouth, the recommended food is not far behind. If you go to Xiamen and have nothing to eat, you can try it;

Twin Towers: Egg Waffles , black tea, buns;

I want to say that the black tea is delayed, and the egg waffle without ice cream has no soul.

(3) Regarding accommodation:

On December 31st, one night at Gulangyu B&B;

On January 1st, one night at Zengcuo'an B&B.

The store owner of Gulangyu B&B is very considerate and will send you map guidance in advance. Follow the indicated route and after going through twists and turns, you will arrive at your destination. It is said that the B&B owners in Xiamen have a pick-up service. If you are really a road addict and can’t read the map, you can call the store and they may provide attentive service.

But to be honest, there is still a certain gap between the B&B here and what I imagined, or there is a certain distance from what I described. I look forward to a better encounter.

(4) About the travel route:

Day1:

December 31, Gulangyu (Snack Street, Sunlight Rock, Beach);

If you go to Gulangyu Island, you must take a boat. After we got off the plane, we first bought a special bus line directly to Xiagu Wharf. It cost 15 yuan per person and took 30 minutes to reach Xiagu Wharf; from Xiagu Wharf to Sanqiutian Wharf

Since we did not buy a boat in advance Tickets (to estimate the arrival time of the plane, you can purchase tickets in advance in the "Xiamen Ferry Co., Ltd." applet), so I can only choose the nearest 12:50 ticket from Xiagu Pier to Sanqiutian Pier. After taking the boat, it takes about 30 minutes to arrive at Sanqiutian Pier;

Board Gulangyu Island, check in briefly, rest, wander around the island and buy some food, and then go to Sunlight Rock, 50 yuan A ticket, it is said that the combined ticket costs about 100 yuan (includes Sunlight Rock, Haoyue Garden, Organ Museum, etc.). If you arrive on the island in the morning and want to visit all the attractions on the island, it is recommended to buy a combined ticket. If you have enough time, you can do all of them. Go check it out.

It is said that Sunlight Rock is the commanding height of the island. From the highest point of Sunlight Rock, you can overlook the entire Gulangyu Island and the high-rise buildings in Xiamen City. Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day we were there, and the overlooking of Xiamen was not as stunning as we imagined. Fortunately, you said that you took the last photo of the vegetable leaves. Let’s just understand that this trip was not in vain, hahaha...

After leaving Sunlight Rock, I went to Baicheng Beach. The lights in Xiamen were very bright. Yaya tried to take many night scenes, but it was not even one-tenth of the scenery on the Bund in Shanghai. But wrapping up tightly, blowing the sea breeze, listening to the sound of the sea, and feeling a moment of tranquility is another kind of scenery.

Day2:

January 1st, Xiamen University - Baicheng Beach - Zhongshan Street - Zengcuo'an;

If you want to go to Xiamen University, you must Make a reservation in advance. You can make a reservation three days in advance on the U Xiamen University official account. It seems that scalpers can also get tickets, but in the words of the driver, there is no need to spend the wasted money. Because I was smart enough to reserve tickets in advance, I was praised many times. Xiamen University is beautiful and worth seeing.

Just outside Xiamen University is Baicheng Beach. Although I didn’t see the blue sea and blue sky, the wind blew on the beach and I stepped on the beach. Hehe, I even got wet someone’s shoes that he refused to take off even to death.

The Zhongshan Street I went to at night is similar to the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street in Shanghai. It is crowded and lively. There are many shops selling specialties and many stalls selling food. Compared with the deserted street next to it that I accidentally entered, there are two obvious extremes, one is lively and noisy, and the other is cold and deserted. Almost every city has one or more larger pedestrian streets where you can go shopping, eat, and finally feel at peace.

After Zhongshan Street, seeing that it was still early, we went to Zengcuo’an. There are many small streets in Zengcuo'an, but when I walk around, I always feel that every street seems to be the same. Those selling specialties, seafood, and skewers are all about the same.

Day3:

January 2nd, cycling along South Ring Road - Putuo Temple - Wulaofeng - Yanwu Bridge viewing platform - World Trade Center Twin Towers;

p>

I was afraid of disturbing my rest in the morning, but I really wanted to ride. I got up early, quietly completed a series of washing actions, went out, drove a small blue bicycle, and rode along the South Ring Road. About 2 kilometers away, there is a beach along the edge. When you look up and touch the blue sky, it is very comfortable and natural. In fact, I wanted to ride farther, but I was narcissistically afraid that someone would worry me. When I met Zengcuo'an again, I decided to stop and go back to buy breakfast for someone.

After packing my luggage, I went to Putuo Temple and Wulaofeng (behind Putuo Temple, after visiting Putuo Temple I climbed Wulaofeng). Every time I climb a mountain, I must reach the top because I think the scenery at the top will be beautiful, but Wulaofeng has subverted my usual view. In fact, I didn’t find any amazing places on the top of the mountain, but on the way back, I overlooked Xiamen University, the beach, the island, and the Twin Towers that I can see at any time. I blew in the wind on the mountainside and felt the feeling of seeing all the small mountains at a glance.

After Wulaofeng, we had a relatively amazing dinner at the entrance of Xiamen University. Then we walked along the road and saw the sunset at Yanwu Bridge. Even though I can’t watch the sunrise with you, I still feel wonderful when I can watch the sunset with you. I feel at ease when you are here.

After the sun set, we went to the Twin Towers (which looked very much like Wanda) for dinner, and then bought some specialty products. We met Sha Powei by chance and headed back with feet covered in bubbles.

Goodbye, Xiamen!

Goodbye 2019!

Hello 2020!
