At the same time, CCTV’s nine original English international channels were officially restructured into English news channels (CCTV News). The newly revised English news channel provides 19 hours of news programs every day, focusing on news and information reports, supplemented by in-depth reports, commentary programs and documentary special programs.

On the original CCTV 9 channel, CCTV has added a new CCTV 9 recording channel. Except for CCTV-NEWS, which maintains the English logo for overseas communication, the other channel names are standardized as "English abbreviation + number + Chinese logo". The revised channel logos are: CCTV1-Comprehensive, CCTV-2 Finance, CCTV3-Variety, CCTV4-Chinese International, CCTV5-Sports, CCTV6-Movies, CCTV7-Military, Agriculture, CCTV8-TV Series, CCTV-9 Records, CCTV10-Science and Education, CCTV11-Drama, CCTV12-Economy and Law, CCTV13-News, CCTV14-Children, CCTV15-Music, CCTV-NEWS.

Supplement: The frequency of the original CCTV English channel was given to the CCTV-9 record channel, and currently CCTV NEWS is the new frequency.
